hell i got a 360 bagged up and ready to go all the time if we figured out a time or place id be willing to bring it wherever … i work from 6-430 mon- fri so any time after around 530 and weekends would be good with me

saturday is looking good so far. Right now that’s a problem for me since I have to work every saturday but me and another co-worker (that’s sick of her sundays) are talking about fixing that. I’ll try real hard to push that.

Shoulda entered anyway, I hated having to bum someone’s stick, but I damn sure wasn’t gonna play on a pad. (I don’t think that dude wanted me to use his stick lol, but thanks for doin it anyway, if you’re reading.) I woulda liked to have used my stick, I put a bat top and octogate on (cannot for the life of me get used to a square, and the bat top feels sooo much more natural.) But I can’t use that as an excuse, I was so nervous I woulda whiffed alot of stuff anyway. Nice work to 911 baiting my ex Upper, winning what was a really fun match.
Also bryan, the friend I brought with me literally learned how to hadouken yesterday, and he almost won a round :P.
Zac and Death Note (remind of your real name sometime lol, mine’s Adam) you guys were both fuckin solid. I’d really like to do something again sometime.

I had a great time at my first tournament, and was overall impressed at the turnout and skill in Wichita. I really wish I coulda seen finals. Let’s get down on some Endless or something later.

i tried to get a ps3 stick but the only gamestop here in town that had one was the base… but i have since fixed that and will not have a problem playing next time
hopefully the next tourney will be on the 360 because im sure more people would have had an opportunity to play on their own personal stick…

lol, then who were u brian? and i didnt hear the guys bitching about sticks, if practicing for hours and hours and hours just to be able to do what i was able to on a pad is an unfair advantage, then umm…i cant think of anything to say, but, next guitar hero tourney they do should be pad only, all peripherals are unfair advantages, and in some of our cases, us playing on pad when we werent used to it would give the pad players an unfair advantage. oh well, ill probably dual mod my stick anyway, i like taking it apart and tinkering with it, what did you use to do yours zach?

And demy dude I was so fucking nervous, I swear I wanted to just up and leave, sweaty hands, rapid heart beat, I was terrified, and the terror dragged on when Marcus skipped my part of the bracket lol. I will say though, even though it was no EVO, it was EVO to me, it was the reason I spent hours watching vids, reading, and annoying the shit out of my wife with Fei Long…“I loooost” and even though I didn’t win, I was overall proud of my progress, and ready to learn more. Demy man, the nerves almost completely went away as soon as I sat down, and all I could focus on was the screen, I may definitely be overreacting, but it was so damn intense playing with all of 20 people looking on, for sure something that you shouldn’t pass up again.
