Japanese? Heh, I always get some annoying South American who is using 2 cans and a string for internet.
My answer is…Capcom doesn’t like money.
Seriously…probably because it was American made and the unnecessary re-balancing when the Japanese can play ST at the arcades.
I’ve actually got an article drafted for my site where I’ll cover this topic, including some candid chat from Seth Killian which is where I got some answers… the short answer though - Capcom is too much of a big dumb corporation, and there’s too much politics & shortsightedness. Just like many big corps basically.
