yea, but parrying gets in the way of charging, and that’s when you need combos the most.
ok,
A) You should always be charge partitioning, if you’re charging and then you parry and go back to charging, your charge should be complete, if you don’t believe you charged enough, you can attack using a simple lp lk mp mk hp or hk that will connect to whatever you’re trying to combo into, depending on your situation, just enough to finish the charge.
B) If you’re not charge partitioning, then you should start! I don’t mean just to throw LOVs over and over, I mean you must be charge partitioning throughout the whole match, whether you’re on the ground, air, throwing, attacking, etc.
C) Look at the video I made with Chun Li’s SAII being parried to show some examples of what you can do right after parrying.
The best thing about Remy’s combos is that they can be mixed up, so you can have variations of the same combo to confuse your enemy, I play aggresively so I heavly rely on combos and tricking the opponent.
You do play very agressively (From what I’ve seen in the matches against the comp. I don’t zone as much as I pick and choose my spots. Like, once I get a knockdown and the other guy’s in the corner, I’ll rush up and begin my mix-ups.
Actually, I think I rely too much on the LOV. I seem to always be tossing them out (which can be useful at times), but I think it limits my gameplay as it stands. I’ll see how well I can do using more of Remy’s normals next time I play my friends.
