I think PC players that don’t have an Xbox/PS3 are in general more likely to be fairly ‘casual’, the people that want to buy the game will most likely have already bought it.
Edit: No-kidding reason to go to GFWL: MS gave you a ton of money for an exclusive or owns your developer anyways (looking at you, Age of Empires!)
They should use that money instead to make GFWL not hot garbage, but yeah that’s probably why. Capcom does it too but I am almost positive they have some sort of partnership with MS.
Edit: Probably something to do with the PC Gaming Alliance or w/e it is… if it still exists.
I know a good number of people who lack a console (usually because they have a Wii) and are interested in Skullgirls. It certainly wouldn’t hurt, Mike said that the game is basically designed for the PC to begin with and most of the work comes from making stuff that is expected on a PC release but not a console version and going through the red tape.
making a PC version should be no effort at all then! haha. Really, I think Skullgirls would get a lot of attention on Steam with its artwork alone. Then make it 50% off for a weekend, and bam, profit and more money for future games.
A different hat for each class based on the character they are closest with.
scout = peacock
pyro = parasoul
heavy = cerebella
spy = double
medic = valentine
The rest of the character I’m not so sure about and I don’t want to think about it .
The people that create the content don’t decide how it will be sold. A separate department within those companies exist for things like that. For the planned DLC characters for Skullgirls, Mike Z has said he feels that $5 will be too much to pay for a character but ultimately it’s not his decision to make.
