Marvel vs. Capcom Chun Li theme is the greatest thing Capcom has ever done; everything else is downhill.

Because the sounds they used are much better. It sounded like real music and not some cheesy video game tunes, and they have some sort of personality. You hear a 3rd Strike tune and you KNOW it’s from 3rd Strike because of the way it sounds. The other two games had OST’s that used sounds that were a lot like the older games to my ears. Not necessarily a bad thing, but 3s has its own personality as a game more than the previous two games did. The arrangements are better too, especially the Arrange soundtrack. I’ve played all three games a lot, so I’ve listened to the OSTs many many time. Plus, Killing Moon (Akuma’s stage) is one of the best tunes to fight to. imo.
GG DOES have the best music of any fighting game. It’s appropriate music to fight to, is coherent with the mood and vibe of the game, and it’s something you could actually listen to outside of playing the game. And this is from a guy who usually hates cheese metal.
Define cheese metal.
everything capcom has done as far as music after 3s and mvc has been ass IMO.
It’s not the greatest, but I Like it. Beats what you hear in the radio any time… just my opinion, i dislike the mainstream pop trend…
WITH A PASSION
Yeah, that!
I define cheese metal as the stuff they use in a lot of anime. A lot of that shred stuff. Dragonforce would qualify.
MvC3 has garbage music, aside from storms remixed theme
Storm’s is nice. But I like Dorm’s and Task’s too. Deadpool’s is also amazing, even if it’s not very suited for playing midfight.
TVC:UAS Orbital Rings…Best knockoff beat ever gets me so hyped in the morning.
i wouldnt say that the music of GG is like the “metal” that you hear on an anime
it has a strong influence of what you hear of europe bands, very melodic driven
You know I’d never really listened to the music from 2nd Impact before until I saw someone mention in this thread that it was better than 3rd Strike music. My goodness it’s fantastic!
