Every time I want to check the MK sub forum, I have to search for a thread about sub zero and then click through there - its not listed on the standard forum list.
Why?
From what I posted on another thread.
You have to go to the bottom of the index forum page and click on “all categories” under category filter. After that, it should appear in the Fighting Games section

Its a shame that we have to do that, and probably explains why the MK forum is so dead.
We go to Test Your Might when we really want to talk MK.
Or like some SRK users here (myself included) go to the GD lounge
Under no circumstance are you to do this. The lounge is not to go discuss MK; just because MK discussions happen there doesn’t make it the official MK thread.

It was a joke…but in all seriousness Pertho is right, it’s not the official MK thread, just a lot of people happen to talk about it there and it’s not recommended and IMO some of the SRK veterans don’t take kindly to newcomers most of the time
