Jap competition keeps up the hype. Honestly Jap competitors do a lot to improve the experience of Evo every year. Gives a lot more variety to who will win.
Also Choi beating Bas was one of the hypest things i’ve ever seen. CvS2 at high level never got me extremely excited, but his play that day was spectacular and it really showed by beating bas arguably the best CvS2 player in the world.
