Everyone… Daigo may come to evo if he wins that cup tournament. He may not. It’s all variable, (and some people really really hate him.) Until then, stop trolling and making posts that lure trolls.
Also, to the op… -_-… Srk “brings” daigo over about as much as I am able to sprout wings and meet him midway to Vegas. Evo is organized by players like Wizard, Skil, and couple others on that level, not random site members like me or anyone else here. Word of Advice… Think before you post, or you will be trolled by people, and your threads will be locked.

My title isnt about bringing Evo to japan. Its more of a typ thing they do for SBO how they hold tournaments and then bring the U.S. Players there or what what ever.
Theres no need to take this thread as serious as half of the people here are doing. you could of simply posted something like

in the old days there was a high enough old memeber to new member ratio to ensure these kinds of threads would get throughly flamed and shut down enough to serve as a warning of stupidity for any other lurking new users to get informed before creating their own dumb threads. those days are gone, and you should consider yourself getting off easy.

He isn’t brought over like a commodity or something like that. Also, right now, he isn’t technically invited, nor do you really get those to Evo. Evo has to be applied to and paid for, so it’s first come, first serve. Also, Ume is currently competing in a pro tournament that will give full sponsorship to it’s winner to go to Evo. SRK is in no way involved with this particular tournament that he is participating in. Read the front page once in a while, and agian, think before you post. People will not suffer mistakes here, there are many still sore for whatever reason and will take any chance to troll you. This is the internet, after all…
Also, there is a big Japanese tournament… It’s called S.B.O. (Super Battle Opera) , a.k.a. Tougeki, which is held on a Japanese national holiday to increase viewership and attendance. Finally. Most tournaments in the far east are corporately sponsored, so there is no need for srk to do anything.
They don’t make arrangements for Daigo every year.
Also SBO is not the best comparison really, since the reason there is a U.S. qualifier in part is because it’s not an open tournament. You can’t just sign up, and be in the tournament. For that reason if they want foriegners to be able to play, they have to set up some sort of foreign qualifying events.
Evo on the other hand is an open tournament, anyone can join. So Daigo can go every year he can make arrangements to get here. The qualifying events they did have weren’t the only method of getting in the tournament, jut placed you out of the pools.
Is Daigo having some sort of Gauntet run at 2010? What I mean is that he is letting other players play him while he’s doing a gauntlet thing or something? If he is I would love to play him. I’m not the best but I know I can play him. Let me know about this. Thanks.
seriously? why does everything have to be about daigo? i mean, i would rather see guys like RF, tokido, shiro, iyo, and many many other top players from japan instead. i wonder how the top 8 would look like if some of the top players showed. hmmmm
