I’ve only played the demo for a short time, but I usually hear bad things about Injustice and that it’s considered to be a joke in the FGC. I guess the same could be said about MK (I didn’t even see a link on the Index page for any MK game).
Why are they bad games? What mechanics (or lack of) do they have that make people not take those games seriously?
They aren’t bad games. It’s mostly just a bunch of basement dwellers who hate on any game not made by Capcom.
it had to do with other reasons. Eg bad netcode on both games on Steam version and NRS made almost a year till they patched MK9, with unsatisfying results. Yet if Capcom does the same, they’re forgiven or forgotten

I play SF4, Injustice, MK9 and I can’t wait for MKX.
All of them are great games. People that say they are bad games are just bad gamers.
