Uh, yeah. Infinites aren’t guaranteed if you know how to play the game. I play A-Guy mainly and after months of prepping with Kyokuji and Slide online(I respect their V-game easily), dealing with V-ism isn’t as bad as dealing with CCs in CvS2. There’s a lot of setting up involved with VCs in A3 than there are in any other game. The execution on some of them is really strict.
alpha 3 is the is the kenny chesney of consumer electronics
sitting down doing almost nothing, hiding behind your ac’s that takes 1/6 of your life and retarded easy (unblockable) cc’s. sfa2 is the most boring sf ever, ever, EVER. stupid scrubby game, even the little girl across the street could be quite a chalenge if you tell her how.
no tnx, sfa3 please =)
nice exaggerations
good thing theres no unblockables in a3
I would enjoy Alpha 3 if, you know, you didn’t absolutely fucking DIE if you jump in it. Coming off the ground is instant death.
Um, the Guy playing in those vids was rushing down like no tommorrow, and all the attempted ValleCCs against him failed
the best A2 players are ususally the ones with the best rush down or zone, so don’t start with “sitting down doing almost nothing” shit, just because the shit isn’t hard as hell and takes months of training mode to learn how to do doesn’t make the game bad
change in subject:
hey, I’ve been anxious to learn how to play A3 because everyone talks about how great it is, but I can only play A and X Ism in that game. I have no clue where to start as far as V-Ism goes, and yes I read the VC thread by Xenozip and watched a few vids. What do guys think are the easiest VCs in the game and how do I do them?
Aren’t V-Ism cross up combos unblockable? I’ve seen players do stuff like knock down, activate, jump over + ariel attack, and I think what’s happening is that their shadow is hitting them crossup while you stand there and attack them the opposite way, making it impossible to block.
QFMFT
there are :o, but you have to be at least decent at the game to pull them off. also they can be stopped with alpha counters.
Goddamn, so much truth.
+Repped
Good thing they’re harder to set up than just being inside sweep!
Anyways I don’t know why this has turned into another a2 v a3 thread. A2 has no place in the topic so I really don’t know what aquashark etc are doing here or trying to accomplish telling people to play a2 instead. To the TC just practice man, it’s all you can do.
Here’s hoping the thread doesn’t get locked.
Nash(Charlie) probably has the easiest custom to do. Next to maybe Cody or Claw.
Start there and work your way up.
I never made it past Nash/Claw/Cody. But they were the only characters I ever felt comfortable using. So it didn’t really bother me.
Coo, thanks dude, I’ll get working on it soon
Actually I think R.Mikas has the easiest. Flying Peach *N.
Charlie’s is just as easy once you reach the corner though.
Why is ST is so damn hard?!?!?!?!?!! Cheating ass high damage, fast stun, input reading CPU!
A3 for LIFE!!!
Too bad I can’t do Akuma’s V-ism combos yet. Damn Demon flip… There’s always Charlie’s.:nunchuck:
seems only the euros and the japanese like a3 for the most part, those are the most players that are on ggpo.
I like alpha 3 though alpha 2 seems kinda boring to me with the turtly alpha counter system, and easy customs…maxes the game out kinda quick. i dont think its a bad game though. i just like a3 better…DS’s post made me lol
he was being sarcastic
closing this thread.
theres been 3487563846843658734568737 a2 vs a3 threads. its funny how any thread making mention of either a2 or a3, eventually results in someone coming in and bashing said game with the other game. its so fucking ridiculous.
how about y’all just shut the fuck up and like what you like and quit derailing every fucking alpha thread that shows up
FUCK
