Why Infiltration is the BEST PLAYER in the WORLD ATM

The Japanese are dedicating less time towards AE because they are bored of it and they realized that it’s a shit game.

Lol priceless dickriding.

Why?
This is why…

Soon noise-cancelling headphones will be obligatory so you can’t listen to your opponents button presses.

Sounds like crimzon probably sucks at AE.

I 100% agree with OP.

Infiltration is on another level and his Akuma is beyond good. Those raging demons… JESUS. I posted about this last night:

“I think infiltration has possibly reached the highest potential with Akuma, or that he can can get there sometimes. He was like a wall. Not in the sense of Guile or Rog, they are putting up defensive walls, they let people come to them. Akuma was a offensive wall. Moving forward relentlessly, shutting down everything in his path, and answering every obstacle that comes up-- his diverse moveset and walkspeed, teleport and air mobility allow him to constantly pressure. This is the best kind of wall there could be. But he pressures smartly and not being overly reliant on reset tactics,i.e. demon flips, like Tokido, who by his own admission, “has poor footies” makes Infiltration so dynamic. I used to think that Ibuki could reach this kind of level. Because she seems to have an answer for all situations. But Akuma is the purer and stronger form of that archetype. Played at this highest potential, like Infiltration has done, Akuma truly becomes Master of the Fist.”

Not gonna lie, I want on the Akuma Bandwagon. **

You also have to factor in the fact that he is sitting right next to his opponent, so it’s even easier to make a read in addition to studying a player’s tendencies. That’s the biggest thing I took away from Evo: They need to do away with side by side competition, and play, maybe top 32, or top 16 ,to top 8 ,to grandfinals on head to head cabs. Infiltration played 100% counter style, and studied, and could read the guy sitting next to him. That’s almost too great an advantage. There was no move Daigo could make that was going to confuse Infiltration, and I don’t think that’s a good thing for EVO. Need to play top 16 on cabs, not consoles.

Seth is the best character in the game, imo.

And does anyone know which player chose Training stage as the background? That stage should also be banned in tournament play.

Infiltration also knows, or I presume he thinks, that Daigo is above “scrub” tactics. That’s a lot of information. For example, a lot of people criticize “scrubby” stuff like wake up ultra, or wake up DP, or jump in “Dirty Ultras” (see Latif in pools), but sometimes you need to do those things if that will get you the win. For example, Jon Choi, at CEO, did like 5 Shoryu’s in a row. Some may say “Why is he doing that?”, but he they’d be wrong. He was keeping the game honest (Or “putting his opponent on notice”, as Seth would say) by doing that, win or lose.

However, Daigo, and many of the Japanese players don’t play like that, and other top players know that and exploit it. In some way, imo, Infiltration may have had a harder time with “scrubbier” online tactics than he had with “Pro style”/“High level”/“Non Mashing”/“Non Random”.

LOL this idiot is saying that something as common as studying your opponents is E-SPORTS, while FGC doesn’t study the opponent.

GTFO. You think Daigo who used to play 363 days a year doesn’t study his opponents? What about Viscant, FChamp ( he raped ChrisG at ECT after he analyzed ChrisG’s games vs Jwong and others). Heck nearly every player except Marn since he spends too much time playing your precious E-SPORTS like League of Legends.

Stop glorifying E-SPORTS and trying to assimilate the FGC into it. Evo organizers have clearly stated that they don’t consider their event to be e-sports. Neither do Keits, James Chen, Haunts and other pillars of the community.

they’re both very different experiences.

I agree but many on the akuma bandwagon are going to be disapointed. Akuma is not an easy character at all and Infiltration did something even tokido can’t do. what I mean is that it’s better to play an average ryu than an average Akuma. But a godlike Akuma surpasses a godlike Ryu by far

I also belive he studied all the players in top 8 and was ready to blow each one of them by punishing their tendancies. knowing the match up is something but fadc forward every fireball then demon everything punishible with raging demon is way beyond knowing the matchup.

If it weren’t for Infiltration’s Akuma dominating Poongko’s Seth in the Salty Suite matches during Evo 2012 I would say it was a toss up between the two. But Seth’s health and stun is worse while Akuma’s vortex and footsies compensate for Seth having a better mixup game.

i dont know if you insult your mother like that but pls dont call me an idiot. its uncalled for. so answer me this. If daigo studies his opponents, how comes he didnt know who Dakou was after his performance at Shadooloo Showdown? or how good Xian’s Gen was? he even admitted he was totally unprepared for Xian. I bet you he had no clue who Xiao Hai was

I’m not convinced Infiltration would beat Daigo in a long set. Focus Dashes are cute and all but one wrong read means death.

Agreed. I would love to see a long set between them picking each other’s brains apart. But this is the world finals, you either win or go home. This sets the precedent for the next twelve months.

Because he won evo.

QUICK EVERYONE LETS GO ONLINE WITH AKUUMMAAAAA

StarCraft already had all the fun sucked out of it, guess it’s time for SF then.

depends on what you consider fun.

the problem with tokido is he just isnt playing AE as much anymore. He’s arcade card is losing points by the day due to inactivity. and when he’s at home, he’s playing SCV, Marvel or BlazBlue… and secretly learning KoF13 somewhere. so juggling all those games has definately affected him this year. Justins plays a lot of games but focuses mostly on his main ones. Tokido hardly plays AE anymore. Even with that said, i think Infil is better with Akuma than Tokido has ever been:)

He was making Daigo look like he didn’t know how to zone with fireballs. That’s impressive no matter the venue.
