Its just about the feeling being dedicated to something gives people and the people they meet along the way. Its long winded yeah but sometimes you just wanna go on and on. Thats all. Its akin to a musician talking about the feeling he gets in his gut when he play his music and the people he meets while on tour. Just relationships and feelings. Its really that simple.
Funny I should see this thread after just watching TB’s video on youtube (after about an hour of looking for similar vids. I must be retarded at using keywords or something. Or could be just lots of crappy videos).
Thanks for the good read and watch.
i thought that srk was a fighting game community and not only a sf community , there is a lot of people who comes here not necesarely for sf4, for example the people who plays sf3 and doesnt care about sf4, or the people who plays mvc2 and arent really interested in other games, the sf2 community for example that feel that sf2 is the best fg ever and are waiting for sf2 hd remix, there is even some people who only comes to srk for the Fighting Game Discussion because they feel that here is a good place to find the news of the games that they are interested
btw the first post is really good, a little overdramatic in some points but still a good point of view of someone who loves his fav game
I woke up this morning and jumped on my usual forums…SRK was stuck on my mind
because of some other particular fighers but then I caught this thread and was…
…woken up again. Well done ThongBoy. Sheesh.:amazed::lovin:

Read my post properly then reply.
Fucking wow . . . . some people will never learn.
Seems quite similar to the essence of competition.
Shoryuken and by association Evo is the biggest fighting game community in the states. Both entities should be seeking to increase other fighters into it’s fold and grow larger, rather than keep individual communities separate. There is some amazing stuff on this forum (particularly in the tech section) that you wouldn’t find anything else that nearly all fans should find valuable.
There is an entire forum dedicated to Street Fighter 4, and a single one to accommodate nearly all non capcom games… so what the problem? You actually have a higher chance of more people showing interest in SF4 with increased traffic coming to the site actually.
