I don’t think that really has anything to do with you hating Ryu since if you put any character in Ryu’s exact spot then something similiar would happen.
I know, it just seems that there’s a lot of hate for Ryu, so I jokingly jumped on the bandwagon.
Just seems funny/odd that the ultra whiffs when they’re clearly in the air and in the middle of doing an attack. IMO. Just joking around, lol.
I don’t hate Ryu, I just hate playing the endless horde of Ryu clones online. There’s TWENTY FIVE characters to choose from, and I can honestly say that at LEAST 20 to 25% of my online opponents will choose Ryu. Makes my blood boil. Fortunately, my Sim is pretty good at smashing most of these posers down.
If you’re a Ryu main, you deserve invisible negative rep. Kthxbye.
I know you know this, but not every Ultra comes out immediately, and the full second start up animation is plenty of time for even an average player to hold away to block when they see the cut scene, or even prep a counter due to the ultra’s recovery. Not flaming you, just inserting needless logic in the mix.
And yeah, too many Ryu’s and Ken’s. I hardly ever pick them just because of that. I’ll counter pick either Blanka to DT+Fierce under the fireballs or EX Ball through them, Rose to reflect, or Gief to lariet through just to piss them off. I even pick Dan to smack the shit out of people who rely on the same combo over and over.
@ DarkDjinn: Yeah, maybe it’s just my retarded way of thinking, but i kind of miss the “instant” start up the supers had in 3rd strike. Or at least the faster start-up, anyways. 
And no, I’m not a Ryu main. Seeing the overflow of them made me sick of him. :arazz:
Oi oi oi oi oi! I’m usually a Fei main but my Ryu is more soild since not everything he does gets beat out by random buttons.
