He fit my playstyle. And he’s hilarious.
He’s cool, nothing more nothing less 
Guys, Deadpool is probably the most stylish character I’ve ever seen in a fighting game. This is why I play him.
I don’t care about his damage output (although it seems that it’s pretty low… Don’t know yet, I got UMvC3 only two weeks ago so I’m still discovering) and I have trouble finding nice combos for him, but well, who cares.
Moonwalking away from a character is the funniest thing I’ve ever done in a fighting game. So I have to play him.
Also, easy hit-confirm hyper combo, easy zoning tools, cancellable slide, and Pineapple Surprise.
I didn’t like his fighting style, but I had to play him just for his overall style =)
For some reason I rarely play him in this game, even though he was one of my most used characters in Vanilla. He’s also one of my best characters, I don’t know why I don’t pick him more often.
I play deadpool in 2nd slot cause I like using is low assist with nova’s javalin for an Unblockable setup … and he has nice Keepaway, some cool combos, he is pretty quick and has a Teleport that I don’t use often so that I can use it as my ace in the hole when I need too. He use to be JUST my assist but I started learning him so that all three of my characters would be able to net me a kill and he wouldn’t be just a free kill for my anchor to come in after my point character dies.
I play Deadpool because I’m gutter trash with everyone else >_>
What? I find that hard to believe. If you can play DP surely you have the skills to play someone like Wesker.
I play him because he is the only char that has taunt to cancel.
i spam the shit out of the taunt/cancel and people get so mad they rush out of control.
i actually don’t like him as a character. super annoying. but he is so much fun to fight with.
his costume is cool
I play him cause of how crazy you can play him =D. X-factor lvl 3 deadpool is my favorite fighter out of the whole cast to play as, and he has 2 different infinites! How cool is that??
It’s been stated a million times now, but Deadpool is weak compared to other characters. I only really play him when playing against friends just so I can show off and rack up huge combos 
Because he’s freakin’ Deadpool!
