Training Stage song sucks unless both characters have Ultra.
But who the hell plays w/o character themes?!
I do, I don’t enjoy some themes… like Dudleys. I like his 3S themes along with others. Same for Makoto and Akuma.
You choose training stage because it doesn’t lag. Started in CVS2, continues today.

Also, the other stages don’t cause more lag. (not talking pc version) That’s just wrong.
The hell they dont. I never had lag with the diner stage but I play on psn, I think it lags on the xbox if Im not mistaken. Two stages that for sure lag are the volcano stage and crumbling laboratory. Guess which two stages people purposely choose? People have been requesting the training stage since SF4 pc and its because of network lag not because of a shitty pc or evo.
Its because they actually want to attempt to play street fighter online instead of lag fighter.
I usually choose it because I have it replaced by a custom stage with custom BGM.
too many shits in the background killing my eyes. dont get me started on mvc3 backgrounds. dark ass backgrounds + black customs = i can’t see shit.
training stage is the new headphones
if you pick it for lag issues, fine. but in live play if the stage is too distracting then you’re in the wrong scene.
Hi Chris, quick question regarding modded training stage: Can I use it online without issues? If so, I am assuming it will only be seen by ME, the modder, is this correct? Also, may I ask which one you’re using?
Unless you have some SERIOUS HAX and can install mods on your opponent’s PCs before the round starts, yes, only you will see the mod :P. I use mods and there is no issue at all in online play.
Less lag(online) and less distraction (on or offline).
OK guys forget ALL the complaints about people picking the TS!!! I have discovered we can use MODS!!!

I hate it when I have to resort to training stage when the connection between me and my opponent sucks. But that’s just how it is sometimes. Rather play a decent match than endure a lagfest.
Oh and Polish players = automatic training stage pick. I’ve never seen those poor sods not lag. Not even sharing borders helps. =/
Definitely lag. Training stage lags the least.
On a related note NEVER pick Drive In or Crumbling Laboratory! They lag the most.
