im not saying that its bad; i actually say that i don’t mind it, i like that a game rewards you to invest time on it, actually.

yes im talking about the current state of the game, on the post that you quoted im specifically talking about it to, and how, imo, mike made a mistake on experimenting with the ips changing it (not to mention about how he talked how sg would change the problems with current fighting games and then falling on the same problems).

the incoming patch would revert the way how the ips works to a previous version, the one that mike promoted when the game was on developing, the current way that the game is played with long combos with resets that lead to the same long combos only helped to make many people who where genuinely interested on playing the game, less attracted to it, for whatever reason, add that many feel that investing so much time in learning a game that they wouldnt probably have many chances to play against other people wasn’t worthy
this patch can help to attract more players, i really hope for that, but the damage is already done.

The reasons I don’t play skullgirls:

There are already too many fighting games

I don’t like the ridiculously long combos and lack of damage

I hate the art style

I think it’s really boring to watch and only slightly less boring to play

I already own UMvC3, AE, BlazBlue, T6, 3S, etc. etc.

There’s not much of a community around it and it’s also horribly buggy

I just want to point out that the guy who started this thread is not a fan of the game but a troll. People were discussing ways to maintain and improve the community in the SG forum and this started trolling as hard as he could. When someone mention wanting to know why some people on SRK are not playing (and decided not to ask), he decided to make this post.

Why does SRK attract so many trolls lately? This sort of thing is the reason a lot good players don’t want to come here often.

There is never enough fighters my man! That’s all I ever play. While all the kids these days are jocking on those FPS, RPGs, etc., I’m still all about the arcade games (shmups, fighters, dance simulators, etc.)
