what character has good matchups where gouken has bad matchups?

I think Yun or Zangief is a good character to compliment him.

I used to think Akuma until I realized he loses to the same match ups that Gouken loses to for the most part.

Here’s a link to the standard tier bracket. You might want to look to see which match ups Gouken has the most trouble with and pick an alt based upon someone who can cover all/most your bad match ups, but more importantly pick a character that you can play with comfortably.
