Then you have Pokemon that are hax. Psychic types like Hypno and Alakazam would ragdoll all the X-Men save for Jean Grey with telekinesis. Also the Ghost types, which can disappear and are immune to physical attacks.
Combined power of Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, legendaries, and all the other Pokemon focusing on the X-men would be just too much to handle. Iām talking scorched earth, thatās all that will be left of the spot they were just standing in.
Although another result could be just Jigglypuff putting everyone to sleep and scribbling on their faces with permanent marker.
Mewtwo never had that kind of power, even in the Pokemon movie. There only 3 Pokemon that could control the actual climate it self and they arenāt part of the original 151.

As much as you think Mewtwo is the DBZ god-power of the Pokemon world (which is not), he still just a mere animal (a weird science project of a animal) in the end.

Ghost are not immune to the elements and to energy attacks (Ice Man, Cyclops and perhaps Angle).

Pre-blue fur Beast can hold his own against other super strong people in the Marvel universe, I donāt see Pokemon picking up and throwing trucks or entire buildings.
Here is the big weakness of the Pokemon right here, none of them is shit without a trainer to guide them.

And were talking Pre-I-was-the-heard-of-death-for-Apocalypse Angle can still fly at super sonic speeds.
Angel isnāt a special attacker, heās a physical-based Normal/Flying type. He uses Brave Bird, OHKOs Chansey and then almost dies because of his frail skeleton.
Beast is Fighting-type, he would OHKO Chansey with Low Kick. Sheād never get the chance to use Counter.
And itās doing this casually with just its telekinesis, no need for weather control powers. Thatās some serious god damn power.
You mean he could ragdoll Thor, Iron Man and Captain America, all of whom wear metal? Is that more impressive than lifting a Colosseum full of Pokemon, including hundred-tonne + weight Pokemon like Onix, Gyarados and Snorlax?
Actually Mewtwo is one of the only Pokemon that is completely self-aware and can fight intelligently of its own free will, it can even communicate with humans telepathically. All Pokemon are at least sentient, and they could certainly work as a team to fight a common enemy. Pokemon just donāt fight with much strategy in mind without a trainer. Honestly, Mewtwo could probably stand in as the trainer and give the other Pokemon orders via telekinesis. And I never said Mewtwo was DBZ level, that would be ridiculous.
Physical attacks donāt work on Ghosts period, so Wolverine and Angel canāt even harm them. But the Ghost-Types can also disappear and become immune to any kind of damage (Ghost types are literally ghosts of dead Pokemon). If a trainer was giving them orders, Ghastly, Haunter and Gengar could apparate to avoid damage and spam Hypnosis, then use Dream Eater to sap their life away while they lay helplessly. Even without trainers, the X-Men are just outnumbered and outgunned, not to mention all the wild cards like the Ghost types, Togepi, Jigglypuff, Zubat (fucking Zubat) and Ditto that all have potentially deadly abilities that could swing the entire fight in their favor.
