My first name is my dad’s middle name… I didn’t know about this until I was 13 because it never got brought up until then. My middle name is named after one of my mother’s friends and she liked the name.
I’m not fond of either name and if I ever have a kid, I will NOT be naming them after me.

My name is kinda unknown…least to me. All I know is Sabre was the name my parents decided to go with it. At first when I was young I wasn’t too fond of it because I never fit in. But now…it’s awesome and am very fond of my name. uniqueness is the best.

Anyways I was named after the singer Lai Ming who’s also called Leon.
I was named after the aboriginal word for war shield, Aragung. My middle name means stone. So basically I got named like an aboriginal Naruto character.

When i ask my parents, they always come up with something different:

and my great-grandfather’s full name forms my 2 middle names.
Someone in my family had a similar name. My mom, being the Speech Pathologist that she is, decided to spell it phonetically. Too bad people still mispronounce it and spell it wrong.
I find it weird that people name their children after them or one of their relatives and don’t go all the way with it.
Especially if its the Father’s name.
When and if I have a son, he’s going to get my entire goofy ass name, and “III” after it.
Because “the third” after my name has a nice ring to it.
