Yeah dustloop is the forum Guilty Gear and Blazblue series for sure. we have a little subsection here on SRK but most of the information available is a mirror of Dustloop.

Just remember the version you have access to is likely Calamity Trigger, not Continuum Shift, so don’t bother reading the [CS] threads.

Damn, man. Jin Kisaragi was my main character in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. I would teach you every single thing about him; the best combos, mix-ups and everything but I haven’t played the game ever since I lost my first tournament to a V-13-player. V-13 is so goddamn broken. I never went back to the game ever since but I had played it for a good amount of time and I was into it. That was my game.

Just head over to Dustloop and read up on a bunch of stuff for Jin. He’s a solid character and you can be cheap with him if you know what you’re doing. I might get back into the game if Continuum Shift ever gets ported to console. At least V-13 isn’t in it.

Wow @ all the Nu hate

You’re just V-Thirt-MEAN

LMAO. Yo, V-13 was broken. Made me not want to play the game anymore. I have a friend who’s ranked number one on the leaderboards on the Xbox 360…and he uses V-13! I mean of course, who else would he be using?

I had all close matches with the guy during the tournament anyway. I know I could have won. It just felt like he had way more of an advantage with V-13. It could have been worst for me though.

Doesn’t Jin go even with everyone though?

yeah dude, you’re a jin player bitching about NU, when Jin matches up well with V-13. As far as learning Blazblue, Jin is solid. So, I’d focus on fundamentals and stuff first. That’ll net you the most value, the other stuff will come naturally.

And yeah, go to dustloop.com for more jin specific information. Things that I’d work on though, would be learning how to instant block, and work on spacing and throw breaking.

I went into training mode and messed with characters I had the most trouble with, and would figure out which moves were unsafe and which weren’t.

The number one ranked player on 360 is not only a japanese player but he doesn’t use V-13.

The last CT tier list I looked at, Jin’s worst matchup was a 4-6 matchup against one of the top three, I think it was Rachel. It wasn’t Nu, he goes even against Nu.

u serious i never had any problems against people online who use rachel my worst match-up for me w/ jin is noel n hakuman

alright good advise on now wat about ragna n arakune
