When I’m fairly certain someone will pick Jin, I like to mirror them and Ice Car spam C in their face the whole round out of principal, because lord knows thats what they were planning to most likely do to me.
This, except with Noel. I put a lot of time and energy into learning her, and now I feel like I need to main someone who’s less popular, since Noel is so overplayed, and 90% of the people that do play her are incompetent…

Been fighting a lot of Ragna’s. The ones I have yet to see played are Hakumen, Carl and Litchi. I’ve been playing a lot of Arakune, but haven’t really seen other blob players around.
Agreed about the Ragna, Jin, Noel trifecta. Although Noel doesn’t show up nearly as much as neither Ragna nor Jin.
I’m kinda confused as to why Ragna is so popular. His fighting style I would think would be a turn-off compared to trying Jin or Noel. The only reason I can think of him being so popular is because he’s the “good guy” and the centerpiece character of the story.
As a hakumen player, I have hardly any mirror matches but get a lot of practice against Jin. It just sucks that Haku is so slow and the constant rushdown gets me in trouble sometimes :x
I love how everyone is black color schemed because they’re used to pressing ‘X’ for select on the PS3.
At least my Noel and Litchi standout by being their in-game color schemes, hehe.
The most i’ve faught is Ragna’s and a few Bang’s here and there… and like 5 iron Tagers

I would say I see Litchi the least.
Followed by Carl, Tager, Hakumen in a group of the next least used.
Then Taokaka, V-13, Arakune, Bang, and Rachel.
Finally, Jin, followed by Ragna, and then Noel is the most used character.
I use Arakune and Ragna for the most part.
As of last night in ranked, 90% of matches are against Noel, Jin, and Ragna. The other 10% is split between Hakumen, Litchi, and the occasional “other”. It’s pretty sad. I’m starting to groan now every match because it’s fights against the same three characters over and over.
With how good V-13 is, I’m really surprised she isn’t one of the most commonly played.
I feel like such an asshole when I use her.
Today I played seven Jins in a row. Only seen one Bang.

A lot of you guys are saying that you’ve seen a ton of Noels. I’ve honestly only seen a handful. :S
Lol…I had someone that ONLY did it to me in the air. Then he decided to mix it up…jumped up, waited till he started coming down, THEN did it instead. What a crazy mix up game that guy had. 
On the PSN, I mainly see Jin for the most part and V-13 secondly in high lvl ranked matches. I personally am trying to choose my main for now. Right now I am using Lichi and Noel. I don’t mind fighting the same characters as long as they are decently skilled.
V-13 is tough to beat for me but I am progressing and learning to block and bypass her sword spam strings.

Sorry to those who main Noel, but out of 274759492 Noel’s I’ve fought online there’s about 3 or 4 worth remembering.
I don’t think I’ve fought a bad Rachel player up to this point. I’m also getting used to the Nu matchup.
i main Noel and i face jin, haku, and of course i get alot of ragnas. at like lvl 30 i think players start to relize how to play their characters. i still run across alot of scruby jins but when i see litch or the freakig cat there is a good chance they know what they are doing. ive only played against 1 carl so far and he was actually good.

Way too many Ragna players with secondary character Jin out there…anybody run into other srk members online yet? I played Sinistar71 last night.
Only from a distance… She gets raped close in, like oh shit I made one mistake there goes 50-75% of my lifebar. She plays so differently from the other characters, maybe she just isn’t as appealing to most players. That’s fine by me though. I hate Nu vs Nu matches, avoid them every chance I get.
