I havent seen his vids only in person. Compared to all the ryu vids I have seen I think he has the best American ryu. Imo.

At what point did he/she say that Daigo said it to them? It could be from an interview or another source.
Most peoples problems is that they try to play ryu like everybody else. Ryu is just as strong as everybody else in the game. Except you have to be smart to play with him.
All his offense comes from EX moves. and the EX dragon beats all normal moves. If it doesnt link into a combo the ex dragon beats. So all those silly strings that dont combo.

How many people fail to realize how much meter ryu builds off of blocked moves.
I pray for people to block my moves. I’ll keep them pinned with Ex fireballs all day.
USE SAI get 2 full meters and see if you will run out of ex moves in a match. let them block.
Chip damage all day. they block a block string. You get your ex meter back!

Ruu in japan has become ridiculous to the point where he beats most higher tiers with ryu (every sa) check theshend’s channel for recent vids of him. Vanao’s pretty good. I think one of these guys as shin shoryu down the the pint wehere they can consistently hitconfirm and kara into the super. No recents of kuroda, namjin is retired.
