lets get some things straight here ryukenden.
nekomanma - i did not say hes the best judging from one video where he ocv’d a team. theres also another video showcasing his ryu against ruu, ksk, and fubar if i remember correctly. he also taught me one smart move which i have never seen any other ryus perform. (mk + mk joudan kick in reaction of dash in)
mopreme like i said does not suck if he made it to 3rd at evo. theres a lot of good contenders there in evo. it doesnt matter if he gets owned by other japs. if he made it that far, made it to sbo, that itself says that he doesnt suck. so that proves my point where your point fails.
Compared to Japanese players, he does suck. He does SA2 after Akuma’s Dive in kick. That’s a random way to use SA2.
I also noticed cl.MK>MK Joudan Geri from Nekomanma. It’s not done on reaction, he just buffered HCF+MK during MK in case opponent dashed. It’s not as consistent as it may look. c.MP>HK Tatsumaki is a more consistent way to punish opponent’s dash.

leva is alright. pretty decent. but nothing special.
you cant compare a US player like mopreme to the japs ryukenden.
your point was that even you can do better than him which i heavily

and i believe Ruu still has the best ryu. he has much more experience and
competition against all sorts of players. he also has more vids to judge upon on.
Twice in one video. He was hoping Akuma’s attacks wouldn’t connect, so he did SA2. It’s a scrub move.
I don’t know why Kurudo doesnt use Ryu more, he is good with him
some top japanese players even mention Kuroda as having the best Ryu.
kurodas defense makes his overall game extremely strong.
okay time for the truth: the real best ryu is played by 6 people simultaneously with each one controlling a different button and taking turns 2 at a time holding the stick.

also how comes Akuma SA1 is better than Ryu’s SA1, I mean it connects more

akumas fireballs have always been stronger than ryus. the air fireball, messatsu fireball, red fireball.
ryu may be the master of the hadou but akuma has that evil power!
Ryu’s SA1 is smaller (bad for combos up close) but it moves faster (better for crazyass combos from across the screen), slightly more damage and only 5 hits instead of 6 (you get rid of it faster if you’re doing a full parry, akuma has more time to fuck you up)
Computer Ryu is amazing. Mixups for days. I swear there is a little Japanese dude in the machine controlling “computer” Ryu. Plus, nothing beats walk up to you from full screen and as soon as he gets in your face, you hit a button/whiff throw - SHORYUKEN!
