Once you realize that you can potentially kill most of the cast after tagging her in and landing 1 mix-up… it’s not all that bad honestly. (400+ dmg tag, 500+ dmg mixup)

Yeah that’s true…well, I better start practising the mixups and stuff
So, I am trying out a new team: Ken X Asuka. I am new to both in SFXT, but I did play Ken a bit in SSF4, so it’s not like he’s a brand-new character to me. I am just learning Asuka, as I’ve been playing her for about a week so far. She seems really effective once she’s in. <br><br>Ken X Asuka seems good since Ken is a neutral game monster who is good at landing stray hits and building meter. If he can land HK Tatsu, he can tag in Asuka for a big jump-in combo. Asuka can also tag back into Ken with meter or by doing a combo into jump HK, Launcher, in order to reset the situation and have Ken out front to defend the lead. So far, I feel pretty good about this one, thoughts?

im trying to go for asuka and chun li. i know asuka lacks range so chun li can make up for it and then she can tag in asuka for the big damage but im having problems with asuka’s combos, i dont know what normal to use to go into asuka’s lift kicks and when i look at her combo video’s i just see a whole bunch of links that are just too complicated for me i just need 1 normal to combo lift kicks into and also when i land the j.hk with asuka then do a falling rain it tends to miss but im assuming im ment to be using the light one then i can sweep after

Asuka doesn’t do links. just tekken strings and juggles (ok, so she has a FEW links, but the only one you need starting out is f+mp > cr.mp xx lift kicks).
Basic BnBs:
Heron Dance (f+mk xx mp) xx lift kicks > j.hk > st.mk xx falling rain (optional sweep after falling rain).
Tsubawaki (f+mp) > cr.mp xx lift kicks > j.hk > st.mk xx falling rain (optional sweep after falling rain)
mp xx lk xx mk xx cr.mp (all cancels, not links) xx lift kicks > j.hk > st.mk xx falling rain (optional sweep after falling rain)
cr.lk xx mk xx cr.mp (all cancels, not links) xx lift kicks > j.hk > st.mk xx falling rain (optional sweep after falling rain)
ex-exorcisor (goes through fireballs) > punch > punch > forward dash > f+lk xx lp > st.mk xx falling rain > sweep
ex-liftkicks (reversal) > f+lk xx lp > st.hk xx falling rain > sweep
Thunderfall kick (f+hk) > cr.hp xx ex-falling rain > cr.hp xx lift kicks
There you go, get those down and you’re good. Doesn’t matter what button you push for her specials, except for normal exorcisor (controls the distence and only hp and ex have any projectile immunity) they’re all the same.
