I agree completely. You can get like 300+ damage off of a very simple b.mp > s.hp > lk slash > FADC > hp srk. It’s mad easy, does huge damage, and scored a knockdown for Oni’s wakeup mixups. With hk/ex slash and his overheads you’ve got a left/right/high/low/throw mixup if you’ve got meter also. So ambigous and puts you right back into the same situation. Not to mention the utility of his airdash for escapes and baits.
If he gets any sort of buffs in AE 2012 he’s gonna be an absolute monster.
main: Dudley, I still can’t find a secondary, but I really like Makoto’s game, she’s fast, hit’s hard, she has some nice OS, idk if she’s my style f character though. Me using her just doesn’t feel right at all, I guess. it’s v-ryu’s fault, he was putting up videos and forcedme to use makoto
Seth only because of Poongko’s dominating performance. After spending a long time dealing with the brunt of everybody’s mixup and helplessly defending as Makoto, its finally nice to able to mash your way out every once in a while. Lol
I’ve been playing Sakura since Vanilla , but switched to Makoto at the end of SSF4. So now I second…nobody since I recently bought an arcade stick ! I can’t do any combo with Sakura or Dan now, it’s terrible , I need to re-learn everything !
Main: Makoto
Recently been learning Seth, he’s so much fun and has so many options. Coming from Makotos very useful but limited options it’s actually overwhelming
At the moment, I kind of like Lili. Let’s get beautiful! Don’t really have a second one that I am liking the look of yet though, maybe Rolento…Ken maybe?
My problem exactly. Been playing Viper since Vanilla, but playing a lot more Makoto recently. I just feel that Makoto gives you a better feel of what fighting games are about, namely decision making. On the other hand Viper gives you an experience about the most important way to deal damage, namely baiting and mix-ups. So hard to choose T-T
Dan, Adon, Fei, Mak, and just added Gouken in the last week.
Mak and Gouken are the most enjoyable to play, I’ve been maining Dan since Vanilla and while I still enjoy him I’m looking for something new, Adon is fun but limited, Fei just seems to dictate the match too much. Not my thing.
Oddly enough my win rates are as follows:
Dan
Gouken (shooting to the top)
Adon
Mak
Fei
