I don’t really understand all the hate towards Blanka. I’ve played a lot of Blankas, both as Ibuki and Fei Long, and I don’t see what’s so bad about him. He can be annoying, but he’s not over-powered.
i didn’t say he is overpowered ( both the my main and secondary can pretty much harrass him) but to describe him perefectly he is annyoing specially online

There are plenty of characters that make me groan and think “Fuuuuuuuudgesicle” but honestly none more than Dhalsim. Its not even that i lose the match a lot or dont know how to play it (im a rufus main and he bodies sim pretty handily) its just that i know that ill have to work my way in and that theres a good chance ill have to chase his ass down as he teleports/backdashes all the way across the screen. Kind of the same with chun, its not even that i lose it a lot its just i know ill have to deal with extravagant button pushing when i get close to her and a buncha turtling.
Sagat also just because the matchup is ridiculous.
And blanka just because, i understand hes not that great but fuck him. Even when i beat him i don’t feel good.
I feel the same way against Sim, Juri or Gouken 90% of the match I’m just doing cardio chasing the opponent from one side of the stage to the other. It’s not so bad when I’m playing Makoto or Yun because of fast movement + air control options. But when I’m playing Cody its super annoying even if it isn’t hard to do it just takes forever.

I swear she like has a counter for everything my Rose throws out, she hits harder, has combos up the wazoo, can hop around almost as much as El Fuerte, and the one weakness she has can be turned into a big strength if she has meter.
And don’t even get me started on Hosenka; she makes you afraid to throw out any Soul Spark.
I get afraid when I see Cammy and C.Viper. If I could guarantee a strong player, also Akuma, but half the time they just jumpback airhado.

Why do people hate on Chun so much? She’s an honest character that relies purely on footsies and zoning to win. I swear I get more hate when I play her than when I play my main, Viper, which doesn’t make any sense. o_0

- he got big-phat-hitbox. Never thought my dee jay’s knee shot bazooka could got hit by gen’s cr-HK slightly after apex. oh ya check out his bicycle kick hit box too. you can’t safe jump near him during his air kick.
- he got the most number ultra in the game. oh well…he was just like that since alpha series too. i can live with it.
- linking super to ultra. owh wait…dee jay can did that too (“ITS ALL OVER BABEEYY”). well…live with it.
