I really don’t know how to fight him. The way he plays makes me panic and then I’m getting juggled in a corner for the rest of the match. Or maybe it’s the other way around.

I feared Guile in Super, in AE 2012 he’s no longer a threat.
Guile is a magnet for unblockables. Additionaly, his stun rate with 900 reduces the mixups I need to stun him. Also, considering the current metagame, it makes it hard for me to see him really as a threat.

Just saying what it seems like to me. You can prevent and deal with those shenanigans, online or off. I have to do it myself in mirror matches all the time.

I don’t really have “oh-shit” characters and Blanka is really easy to deal with but lately I have started to hate shotos the most. Not because they are cheap or anything hell no (except maybe Akuma to some extent but even he isn’t perfect). It’s just that I have to play them the most in ranked and I get annoyed by shotos lol.
Other than that I am pretty annoyed by backjump fireball Akuma and derpy flowchart Kens just because I have to dumb down my game alot more which is not enjoyable.
Every charge character except for Balrog. Haven’t really learned how to deal with the match-ups for them very well yet, especially Deejay and Honda. Rarely see those two, but when I do, I get bodied. For the most part though, I’m pretty okay dealing with anything else. However, Seth, Adon, and Shotos get annoying too.
Oh! And Dan. Yes, Dan. Don’t know what it is about him, but Dans terrify me regardless of what tier he is.

Dan is probably terrifying because of the illusion that’s he’s bad but he’s probably good. So you don’t know whether to let your guard down or worry that the guy chose Dan because he knows he will whoop an humiliate.
it’s also that you don’t know his moveset to well, so you don’t know exactly what he’s capable of.
you only know that he’s supposed to be garbage, so you cant lose right? right?!?!
People say that a lot, I main Dan and I never felt that way. People play normally against Dan and it doesn’t cross my mind that there would be added pressure against him.
I’m just gonna pop in here and say Dan is not good. He’s not. Dan’s tools are as follows:

This is a character whose hit 3f hit confirm has to be done glued to your face and isn’t mashable. Though he can do decent damage, his normals are absolute dogshit. If you don’t know the matchup you might freeze when he applies that crazy saikyo pressure ( don’t block lk. danku crounching or you will have a bad time, Dan gets like +a billion when you do that) but overall he really is a piece of shit compared to everyone else. If you pick Dan, prepared to be zoned out, mixed up, or grappled, since ALL of this gives you trouble and you’re never at an advantage.
That being said, the game is balanced enough that a good Dan has a fighting chance against everyone but his absolute worst matchups ( Akuma, Blanka, Juri, Seth, Dhalsim, etc)
Fun as hell to play, though. So much fun that it makes it worth it.
He is a lot better compared to Alpha series. But he is a lot of fun. I sort of main him at times and it feels more satisfying winning with him than any other character.
Also he is going to win EVO one day. Mark my words.
