Anyway, sorry I couldn’t get other good images of Leduc, Panzerfaust and Big Band. Of the like four Leduc images I’ve seen, the Wiki already has the best one, I couldn’t find any other images for Big Band and all other images of Panzerfaust I’ve seen clearly predate his transition to the SG IP. The one in the Wiki is therefore the most accurate. I’ve been able to make some updates to the previous post (new images too) so be sure to give it a quick recheck. In the interim, I’ve done a bit more sleuthing and uncovered the following:
Claire - Very little has been revealed to the public about this character; only one public image exists from a few years back. In the below image, she is seen being somewhat “buddy, buddy” with Venus so perhaps they are friends or associates. I would be skeptical as to whether or not this character still exists if it weren’t for the fact that I’m pretty confident she is the same person near the center background of the New Meridian stage (also see attached). If so, she has undergone a redesign but you can still see traces of her origins. She doesn’t look human. Maybe a fish person? With the number you see in backgrounds and the role they seem to play in the story, you would expect at least one mermaid/fish person character to make it onto the roster eventually.
Karen - The only picture I’ve found for her is shown below. Some sort of pugilist chimera I’m supposing. No further reference on the whiteboards and no cameos on any revealed stage so far. If she still exists is anyone’s guess.

Skullgirls needs to do well just so we can see more of Alex’s artwork. His character designs, even the somewhat generic ones are all very fun with so much personality. I want to see everyone in Croc’s post be playable haha. The playstyle possibilities are endless, especially with Mike at the helm.
Also, I don’t care what Mike said; #Marin4Skullgirls. She’s too awesome to not make an appearance in something.

I hope Big Band comes after Squigly and Umbrella. The cast could use some dong about that point, and he looks interesting.
Yeah, Big Band is my most looked-forward-to male character, although Le Duc seems pretty interesting, too. Electricity? *0 *
Also, it’s kind of cool to see someone else noticed Big Band looking dark-skinned facewise. I’ve got this idea in my brain of him being a totally-smooth-as-fuck black dude, decked out in that slick sax suit. Or maybe that’s just an excuse to have my head-idea of his voice sound suspiciously like Morgan Freeman. 8>
Oh yes Big Band. Totally want him to be the first guy DLC. As for his voice, to me he is sounding like Maximilian Zane. Going smooooooth with his jazzy Deep Space Jams 8-).

I would like to see a Skullgirl Noir type character (man or woman), like the gentleman there with the slacks and suspenders. Gotta keep it classy, like Q (Dudley wishes he could pull that look off). Classiest man/cyborg/robot thing in the world. Skullgirl version of Dick Tracy, go!
She’s got a cool look, but (and I might be seeing things) it looks like she has wheels/tires for hands. Maybe she’s holding on to them or maybe I’m just imagining it, but it looks like road gear to me.
Edit: Looks like whatever it is they are strapped to her hands.
They sort of vaguely remind me of the discs used in TRON, but hand-mounted, not back-mounted. Hmm.
Though out of that little group on that stage, I like the guy sitting on the crate with the spikey leg best. Who knows why? P:
It’s nifty that even the backgroundy background characters in this game are interesting. I just love that.
I think it’s not like Alex was thinking: “Hey, I need 15 background characters. What craziness should I unleash upon them?”. For me it’s more like: “Hey, I got those 50 cool thought-out characters which we can’t make playable just yet. The hell with that! Let’s put all of them on the background!”
If all of them are playable I will poo myself.
Mike already confirmed he has at least something in terms of playstyle for like 30 characters or so. What really matters are time, dedication and money.
I think we as the community can help out with the 3rd one.
I think it’s somewhere between the two. The pink haired girl next to Le Duc and Big Band on the ASG Labs stage just showed up one day apparently.
