Desk had already mentioned in his transcript that the combo was a bad management of meter, its just stylish. but after watching the trials i’ve already known the :lp: version of Aeolus Edge can be comboed from, so you mite not need to burn the EX until you get to the WoL.

Not to jump into this argument, but Capcom already stated that Poison was trans, and she was so for 20+ years. It was then when she was going to be an actual playable character in a game released in the West that they caved and went with the wishy-washy statement that they’re now going with. It’s very frustrating that they won’t just stand their ground, because Poison’s being trans is very important to the LGBT community (which has so little representation in gaming).
Anyhow, glad you guys are liking my Poison joystick mod! I used it for the first time yesterday for sitting down to finally crack open SFxT. (I have it early via work for reviewing.)

Well, this is a pleasant surprise! While the stick is nice, I admit I was a fan of your article since I first read it months ago. It was one of the best (and civil) discussions I’ve seen on the subject yet, and I enjoyed it very much.
I also get where the frustration is coming from regarding the gender issue. However, I still believe that Capcom (a company who doesn’t have the best track record in regards to cultural sensitivity) teaming up with GLAAD to get her right is a huge enough step on it’s own. It may not be as much progress as we like, but it’s still progress, and that’s got to count for something. For what it’s worth, I’m enjoying the attention Capcom’s current stance is bringing to other aspects of Poison’s identity and personality outside of the gender issue (her past with Mad Gear, her current occupation in Fight Promotion / Professional Wrestling, her relationships with Hugo and Cody, etc).
Here’s a little thought just had in the same vein: Have we ever seen Poison speak to Rolento yet? What’s her win quote against him?

I have a friend that I’ve known for nearly 13 years and she started taking testosterone blockers and estrogen in high school, once those babies kick in it’s almost like a second puberty. So yeah, there’s a lot more to being trans than just having a sex change; the the chemical make up of the body is altered via hormones to change physical things like fat distribution, to create curves in the hip, thighs and breast area; and things like the loss of body hair and more feminine posture. There are also changes in the individual’s mindset which effects their temperaments and even things such as their perception of things to better suit the desired gender one’s transitioning to. Not to mention the various cosmetic surgeries there are to enhance certain feminine features even more.
I know most people are so ignorant because they’re simply unfamiliar about the subject, and we all don’t want to drag this topic out, but at least think before you say crap like “dude’s don’t have hips like that”, being trans doesn’t classify her as a man. She’s a woman, just a trans-woman; it’s entirely possible for her to look the way she does.
Without meaning to be crude, I think trans-women would be a lot more popular and accepted if they all had bodies like Poison
