Poison’s speech is FAR from feminine, pal. Pay attention, she’s using more slang than any character in the game. Likely because she’s from the streets, and owns it.
Poison being the most feminine character in this game is far from a feat with half of the women looking like apes, but that doesn’t even matter because it’s beside the point.
Only a person who lacks knowledge in both characters would bother drawing parallels between the two. Yeah, Ivy is a seductress; but Poison isn’t. She’s just hot and knows it. Taunting your opponents with being sexy as hell is different than luring them in, making out with them, and then killing them or any other variation of solely relying on one’s sex appeal to best an opponent.
Ivy relies on sex appeal, it’s her entire thing. Poison just works it while she kicks ass. There’s a difference, and if you fail to see that then I don’t know what more to say.

Your post basically makes my point in that Poison Ivy is just a more extreme version of poison. They both use thier sexuality to disarm you and then defeat you. How you don’t get this is not my problem and I don’t care.
On topic: I would love a Poison Ivy alt because it fits her character perfectly and would be awesome

I never said Poison and Poison Ivy were similar in every way but did say they have similarities which they do and capcom has made costumes out of connections waaaaaay more flimsy so whats your problem anyway?

well it is thats why an alt giving off the same vibe wouldnt change the image of the character, i wouldnt want a drastic change…even if it is a alt because i’ll start to feel detached from the character, it wouldnt feel the same. it would be like asking Ryu to wear shoes…he aint going to…

you gotta understand Final Fight was made in the earily 90’s alot of things has changed since then…and clothing has changed alot from the, but it isnt too hard to figure out what Poison would were in this day and age… heck she doesnt even need to wear that same hat(thats its like her shit tho), or take if off completely. If anything because shes Hugo Manager she would had stepped her game up and wear designer clothes lolz…if not that then wear close visually similar to what her attier is now. but its hard to say since the character hasnt been used in a decade. My idea was that if poison was from a 2011 metro city slum she would likely wear more hiphop attire like everyone else does. I’m from Chicago and there are lots of white girls that dress with that style because you grow up with it.

That’s what I thought! Though Atsuko Tanaka’s wiki says she voices Nina in SFxT, which doesn’t make any sense as she voiced Poison in 3rd Strike.
If it really is her though, then Poison will have to be on my team. I mean, she’s the fricken Major.
