best sf characters are from sf3, sf2 and sfa deserve an hounorable mention. actually fuck sf2, sagat was already in 1 and the rest sucks ass cept for akuma. same for alpha, the best ones are also in sf 2 & 1. sagat and gen ftw. gouki, adon, and then some. sf3 shits on anything sf related, if you dont agree eat a dick.

Honestly, I think that SFEX had a generally underrated cast. The individual characters all had really, truly nice little tweaks that gave them a serious amount of unique flavor.
the fact that tekken has so many different characters who are all independant in style, all loosely based on famous martial artists/actors including their little trade mark moves…

Best designed do you mean for moves? Balance? Something like that? I guess a disadvantage of a huge roster is that some get forgotten, and some feel the same.

In terms of pure aesthetics and apeal to those with ADD, Its gotta be 3s. I’m not saying if you like 3s you have add but from a standpoint of most pleasing to the eye and character variety 3s is the shit.
SSF4 will hopefully add some new memorable characters.

Don’t see why this list is all SF. Real Bout 2 had a pretty underrated roster, along with Rage of The Dragons and Bloody Roar.
Not sure if the OP even knows these games exist…
