Which loop is stronger?

Which loop is stronger? Zero’s lightning loops or Vergil’s sword loops? Zero’s looks easier to setup but Vergil’s loop looks stronger?

Zero’s does (a lot) more damage and you can build more meter in between them. Spiral Swords is easier to setup and easier to execute.

I think Zero’s looks easier to setup

As a combo finisher they are both very easy to set up. For Vergil just c.H > Swords and for Zero just Buster > Lightning > Sougenmu. As a DHC though Zero requires them to be in the corner and needs enough time to hit a jump Buster or lightning before the opponent lands from the first super, Vergil can be DHC’ed to from basically any super in the entire game anywhere on screen.
