well I’d like to say Final Fantasy 9 is completely misunderstood, you’re not playing it properly
play one of the original FF games (1-3) then get a feel of the exploration in FF9.

It is the worst, its one of the few games I can’t even play through at all, the gameplay is that bad.

I think 10 is the worst. I haven’t played any after 10, aside from a little bit of 10-2 (err X-2). That’s because I knew that it was over between us after 10. Horrible voice acting, no world map, a damn ARROW TELLING YOU WHERE TO GO… there wasn’t much that I liked about FF10, other than the graphics I guess. FF3-7 are all oustanding IMO, with FF7 losing a few points for easy/simple gameplay but gaining some for then-mindblowing graphics and One Winged Angel. And Aeris. And I liked FF8 as well, although somewhere in the FF7-FF8 period the series jumped the shark.

didn’t like the design of cloud and everything was so small. people would always say ff7 was not just the greatest final fantasy but the greatest game of all time. it was a bit of a stretch for a typical waste of time jrpg
