I want to get into a fighting game to get away from shooters. So if someone could explain to me their opinion on which game is better and give reasons.
Also which is more competitive. And will kof be in tournaments.

KoF obviously. It has many tournaments every year, and most games at evo are KoF games.
OP is such a scrub. The best out there is Gundam Battle Assault 2.

Not sure you can ask such a question. That’s like asking if chess is better than Monopoly. Sure they are both different, but are both board games just the same. KOF is flashy and offensive. SF is slower but based more on strategy and mindgames. Not sure if anyone could reliably say which is better than the other. It’s all about what you prefer out of your game.

If you can’t find a version of Mugen which has both SF*(1, WW, CE, Turbo, Super, ST, NG, 2I, 3s, Alpha, Alpha 2, Alpha 2’, Alpha 2 Gold, Alpha 3, Hyper Alpha 3, EX plus alpha, EX plus alpha 2, EX3, Movie and IV)* and KOF (94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 2K, 2K1, 2K2, 2K3, XI, XII, Movie, Maximum Impact and Maximum Impact 2) then just settle for Capcom vs SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001. It’s almost the same thing. Best of both worlds, imo.
