Just making a point. If you try to clown someone who plays smash cause of characters, don’t forget that being in your late teens, twenties, thirties, etc… and playing Marvel doesn’t make you look Fonz in front of a regular crowd.

ok i understand that L-canceling is hard…but is NOTHING compared to lets say goukis kara-demon, Johnny 1-hit set-ups, playing i-no…and actually do something (like koichi the best i-no player i have ever seen), or even learning a VF character…that is hard.

man this thread is stupid and needs to be closed. Also anybody hating on the fact that smash is in evo needs to redirect their hate on their own stale ass community. Unicef isn’t sponsoring evo so if you want a game you got to bring the numbers. Wiz is doing what he needs to do to keep the Evo machine running and that means dropping fighters that no one has an interest in.
Also, this whole “tripping” business for brawl is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard for a “fighting” game.

I would say Smash is more random because of the items and stages. But since items and random stages are banned in tournaments anyways then I say that it’s pretty even.

Not necessarily, because that bs wasn’t in the first games. I would not expect smash players to stop playing the game because this particular feature.
