I have my most fun playing as Ragna or Rachel. I love Ragna’s pressure and I love Rachel’s unique style of play.
I suggest that you do what I did: Go and pick one of the Character Tutorials then go to challenge mode and spend some time trying to do the combos for that character.
Then go play some sort of single player mode and ask yourself, did you enjoy it? That’s how I discovered my two mains.

Ragna and Hazama for me. Ragna is just balls out offense, and when you hit your groove he just seems like the energizer bunny. He keeps going and going. Hazama is just plain out flashy and his drive is the best in the game, love the Ouroboros.

Are you talking about a character that wins or a character with many options but requires more to do heavy damage? Or do you prefer a mindless character where you could mash as much as you want? Dunno, Bang is the best unless they get jump happy and run out of projectiles.
