Which Character Do You Hate The Most

Rufus cant stand looking at the character, stupid looking move set and pretty much designed to be comeback character because hes ass without ultra, Cammy and Sakuras who like to toss desperately ex tatsu when their losing because they can and get a free ultra/reset mixup if it hits or if block get +4 frame advantage

I hate scrubby Ryus. Jab throw doesn’t work more than once. owait, it does because it’s impossible to tech online.

Lol I feel your pain dude. When I play in rank against Ryu’s it just jab jab throw then step back j.hp and jab jab throw or they jump over me then do that shit. I tech it like 2 times and after that its like teching dont exist.

You know what REALLY pisses me off? When you actually SEE the first frames of your throw whiff, and then they throw you during your recovery.

Seth and Cammy can die, I mean that. I’d happily kill them both. I hate VORTEX. Oh, and Akuma, Ibuki and C.Viper too. Not El Fuerte, he’s super fantastic.

why hate on juri 4 (besides the aesthetics part i can understand) i dont see why but its probaly cuz i main her

When they are played well I don’t hate playing against any characters (Most of the time). Some characters when played poorly are soooo annoying! I also hate some characters in a character design sense. I don’t like playing against them because I don’t like their character, but it doesn’t bother me that much.

I hate playing against Vega, Chun, Blanka, and Cammy… Makes me salty when I lose. Vega is the worst of them all.
I hate the design of Ken, Juri, Rufus, Adon, Seth, and Bison. They aren’t always really annoying to play against though.

I hate Juri because of how stupid her moveset is especially her ex pinwheel, when i heard about taekwondo charcter finally making it in expected a cool moveset as other taekwondo characters in other fighters then i see a trailer of her and see her stupid looking ex pinwheels etc :confused: and then theres her design,

Stupid? Her launcher isn’t stupid? She just defies gravity for a second…

Seth, Hakan, Juri, Rufus

I used to hate T.Hawk.
But then I realized he’s shit and his little pseudo dive kick (for lack of a better name) gets stuffed so easily.

I used to hate Hakan.
But then I realized I’m a scrub and only lost because I was using projectiles.

I used to hate Zangief.
And then I realized he can’t do anything if you know how to anti-air and have one good normal.

I used to hate Viper.
I still do.

I hate Hakan I don’t know what it is but even the mere sight of that character annoys me.

Fighting a really good Dhalsim is annoying.

And T.Hawk…

I’ve started to hate Ibuki with a passion lately. I know how to win with any of my characters, but it’s so damn annoying it takes all the fun out of the game.

this only happens beause capcom foolishly introduced a redesign to the mechancs of throwing which was a two button system.
which was needless, uncalled for, nd no one ever really wanted.
thats capcom. fixing things that aren’teven broken(throws) and refusing fix real issues with their fighters(ultras, x-factors, gems)
one button throws worked, they still work, and they will continue to work 1000x better than 2 button throw command systems.
2 button throw sytem is almost as bad as a block button(mortal kombat 1), which btw, was also fighting game’s first gimmicky bullshit experimental idea gone awry.

also, one button throws take the guessing out of teching. its won’t be a 50/50 if they throw you or not. since you can never really tell if a throw attempt will be made according to the distance between each character’s chests.
one button throw commands mean you’ll have to be really close to your opponent, chest to chest touching, and you’ll have to be holding forward for your throw to come out instead of your hp or hk move.
so you’ll know with 100% certainty when someone is attempting throw or not. so there’s no guessing to tech.
plus some characters will lose advantages to their throwbox.
like bison.
i remember one time i was footsie’ing this bison with my juri.
i went for a sweep. my juri’s sweeping foot was just barely making contact with bison’s leading foot, when he throws me. which, scratches my head, is ludicrious.
its insane he can throw me from that immense distance between us…just because the bison player hit the throw buttons while my juri’s toe was in his throw/hitbox.
its like he turned into gief momentarily or something with distanced grabs.
so why bother sweeping the leg or footsie’ing when you can punish long distance sweeps with throw?
no point.
throws=hard knockdowns which mean the world for characters that take 4ever to get up…like juri for ex.
that last thing a juri player wants is to receive a hard knockdown.
now, in a one button throw system, that bison can’t punish my sweep with of all things, a throw. he’s gonna haveta find some other way to punish my sweep attempt…but not with a throw since his throw animations will not come out due to the distance between us, regardless if my foot is in his hit/throwbox or not.
and that non-throw punishment may or may not lead to hard knockdown. hence, its less risky to footsie in a one button throw command system.
but in a 2 button throw system, it is 1000x more risky to footsie if said footsie is punishable by throw.
hence.
why its a flippin “turtle like a bitch+throwfest” online.
which detracts from the footsie game tremendously.
and one of the things that make fighting games fun…is the dynamics of footsie mind games!
i hate hate hate 2 button throws, not just in this game, but in alpha and 3rd strike too.
one button throws work perfectly.
in every fg.
from sf2 to kof2002.
capcom just want to redesign throws to say to us "hey look, we’re evolving fighting games with needless & unwanted redesigns to aspects of the game!"
no you’re not, you’re just ruining things that worked perfectly and flawlessly beforehand and making a mess of it.

I hate Cody. Awesome character but his frame traps and counter hit B.S usually makes me pissed. He’s free on knockdown and I play Ibuki so its not too bad but when that douche hits me HE FREAKIN HITS ME. Like 300 Health gone.

I hate Sakura, links on links on links, nasty mixups, moves that leave her safe on block for no reason like her tornado kick.

I hate Juri and Dhalsim but that is because I don’t know that match-up as well as I should.

I used to hate Chun-Li but then I saw that Chun-Li has no reliable anti-airs.

I hate Guile, he’s makes your offense look so stupid when he hits you.

So, time has passed since my last threat, og my salt levels towards characters has changed a little.

  • Rufus, for being obnoxious to play against. (Almost) instant dive kicks, stupid ass easy-to-land ultra 1, and crouchtech being denied. Oh, the amount of salt increases in my eyes when I see that fat f*ck.
  • Somehow T-Hawk also pisses me off.
  • El Fuerte, which really doesn’t require an explination.

But to be fair, I like the balance in the game alot. I rarely sighs when I meet a certain player og character, so thats nice. :slight_smile:

Wouldn’t it be easier to just stop playing Street Fighter IV and play a game you actually like instead?

Seriously, why do you play it if you hate it so much? Just stop. Posting about it or playing it, I care not which.
