Where'd my Orbs go?

So I was playing an online game, I dropped a combo that ended with a soul spiral. Knowing that most people online like to press buttons, I activate U2. After this, I noticed I was point blank to my opponent, so I mashed grab to tech a throw… Then my orbs disappeared after I teched the throw.

:frowning: I hate Rose U2 bugs! Any weird scenarios you guys experienced with Orbs?

When you tech an opponent’s throw, you lose orbs. There are no glitches with orbs; they are all systematic.

Really? I got teched once or twice, but this is the very first time I’ve actually teched a throw with U2 up. So thanks for the info. Is it because teching a throw registers as “getting hit” until you tech it?
