The button holes need to be 20 pixels smaller. Trust me on this.
Just to be safe, don’t leave the button holes on your artwork when it’s printed. Problem solved.
Glad it worked out for you likkuid, I’m excited to see how it looks. I’ve worked with that vinyl material and finish before, so I know the quality is good.
Might have to use that site for my cabinet’s new panel.
yeh…shouldn’t have put them there at all
whatever te is…i think it was like 14 by 9 or something i cant remember. lol…it wont crack.
the custom control panel, default options…one side is sticky. sticks right on the stick.
purchased on feb 11. shipped on feb 17. arrived feb 25. shipping was $21-22 I believe. after art + shipping came out to $73 canadian. they’re in ontario? wow, they really rip u off on shipping then. should be $5. yes they’re GOOD, bite bite
Oh is it like a flexible sheet of plastic? Like you could roll it up if you wanted to?
Can’t wait to see pics likkuid! So you just sent them the official template and everything (except the button holes) came out the perfect size?
Sweet. How thick is the material?
How do you do this on photoshop? I don’t know how to change the size exactly and keep it in the same spot.
Likkuid, is the material flexible or not? Would it work for an SF4 SE stick? If it’s not flexible, I bet it wouldn’t…
Just get rid of the holes. Put your artwork all the way over the top of the stick.
You can use the top plate of the stick as a guide when cutting.
Dunno about ps, but in gimp I was able to do it. I just made the openings layer the only one visible, used the fuzzy select tool to select a button hole then the scale tool to scale it down. It kept everything centered. Play around with ps for a while to see if you can figure it out. If you can’t get it to work send me a pm or repost here and I’ll upload a modified template. LuckDay’s advice would work well too, but if you’re printing and then laminating you might want to trim back anyways to make sure the laminate forms a tight seal that won’t peel.
looked at the shipping label - they’re in the states; not ontario - so i don’t know where that guy got his idea. also, they charge ACTUAL shipping.
yup. they ship it rolled (albeit slightly - it’s quite a wide tube).
yup.
no idea. not gonna check…but it’s flexible and feels REALLY durable. for example…you wouldn’t accidentally rip it.
yes, flexible. i don’t see why it wouldn’t work with the SE :looney:
yeh, i’m gonna do that. lay the whole thing on, flip the panel over and cut like that.
find the layer with the button wholes and ctrl+click the layer. a selection of the layer’s items will now appear. take a marquee tool and alt+click&drag around any area that ISN’T a button whole. now, with your selection still there, go to the toolbar at the top and click Selection>Contract>20px. Now go Selection>Inverse. Press delete. That’s it.
Not looking for a precise measurement… is it like a thick sheet of paper, poster board, or even thicker than that? I’m not planning on removing the backing.
Just trying to get a feel for how much lower it would be on a TE than the stock plexi.
amazing looking art!
is there anyone in the uk who has theres printed i have no idea where to get it done as we dont have a kinko’s
poster board…though that’s WITH the adhesive backing peel still attached.

They lowered their price by $11…right after I purchased lol. Lame for me, good for you guys
How would I go about getting getting MAME Marquees to print out something for a the 360 HRAP EX?
Do they cut the holes?
I don’t want to spend a whole bunch of money just so I can ruin the whole thing when I go to cut it out, or if the template I used was off a tad bit.
I already ruined 3 test runs of trying to cut out a template with a Exacto knife printed on Tabloid paper from kinkos.
do you have pictures?
Well it shipped from the States - it clearly shows that on the shipping label, not to mention USPS (not in Canada) was the shipping company.
