well, considering that BB is the vision of fighting games of mori and GG is the vision of fighting games of ishiwatari, that is highly improbable, as they said, GG is for the hardcores, so you can bet that the next GG will be like AC, not casual friendly at all

I will be really happy if GG gameplay will stay as GG gameplay (not casual friendly), but who knows what can happen especially since if they go towards HD sprites they have to redo the entire gameplay from scratch, so I’m not getting my hopes up.

I would love ArkSys to port GGAC+ for XBLA and PSN using the same BB netcode, they would make a large amount of money.

This is what I predict the next GG installment if going to be

*New redrawn HD Sprites
*Slower Gameplay
*Less Characters (due to how long it takes to create an HD character)
*Casual Friendly gameplay
*New characters or Redone Old characters with a more Mash Friendly playstyle.
*Escapable Throws

GG players should probably get used to BB since ArcSys is probably going for the more Casual Style of fighting games just like Capcom did.

They know GG is for the hardcore gamer, and they stressed that it would and has to stay that way. It’s the reason they made BB. So common sense asks, why would they up and make GG like BB? Believe it or not it won’t generate more sales and they’ll be killing off a core fanbase. Look at KoFXII…

BB sold well because it appealed strongly to anime fans, and on top of that, got positive vibes because of the job Arc did in porting it, along with strong netcode to generate good initial word of mouth.

KOFXII sold like shit because it was an unappealing game that was dead in arcades before hitting the US, then had a horrible port that generated negative buzz.

Also, Arc is relying on BB to be their cash cow, and that means making sure it’s not labeled as a GG rehash, which it isn’t.

As for GG on XBLA, it’s a Sega property now I think, so I think you guys can get some pitchforks from the VF5R fans or something.

Blazblue should get a little better in the next game: continuum shift, but right now, as someone who plays is a lot, it’s so much worse system-wise than guilty gear. the problem is, you have to be already hooked on the game to notice that. I really am hoping for GGX3

If it happens, Arc won’t be doing it. They don’t have the rights to GG anymore, which is why BB was made.

theres usually gatherings, some people play at cf but you gotta figure out when they show up. some of the nations best play in nyc but they play at houses because henry never takes care of the gg cab.
