Personally, I see nothing wrong with the theme song or soundtrack. Honestly, we’ve all heard worse soundtracks than this. So bad, a lot of people did something about it.
I’d be willing to bet if you’re straight that applies to ALL men.
Alpha 2 had the best soundtrack.

Back on topic, forgot to mention that I’m a little disappointed that you won’t hear the character/rival themes outside arcade mode and the lobby.
But doesn’t Poison have meat? S/he just tucks it in real tight.
SF2, SF3, SFA1-2, all great soundtracks. Classics! SF: EX1 had some great songs as well. Capcom is known for making great songs, but they dropped the ball on the music this time. Some of them are ookkayy, but I know Capcom can do better. But what can you expect, any recording artist cant make great albums forever.

I’m more prone to saying SF@3’s soundtrack’s the best in my opinion. Of course if you really want to see where Capcom went wrong, compare MvC1’s soundtrack to MvC2’s. But that’s getting offtopic, lol. I’d just hope in future SF IV patches, Capcom’ll allow individual character themes to play instead of the Stage BGM.
I just put my own soundtrack over the game. Alpha 1 PSX mixes and Rolling Thunder 3 C.Viper music FTW.
3s CPS-3 soundtrack gives me some mean headaches. It’s fine for a while but damn, it sure gets annoying after a long playing session.
SF4’s soundtrack might not be as great as SF2 but at least it doesn’t get as annoying as 3s’ soundtrack.
The tracks for the stages are kinda lame not bad just very generic-ish.
The tracks for the characters KICK ASS!! really all of them rock, and not because of nostalgia because I’m fairly new to Street Fighter.
A little off topic, but something i want to share; at my best friends wedding every1 is getting a song to come out to (or at least a piece of a song)… and of course mine is the sf4 opening song! its gonna be awesome! wont be til next may but i will sure to have videos up for when it happens

I don’t hear where Capcom went wrong with the music…I like the music.
BGM that you can’t recreate by humming are all crap, in SF4 only indestructible and the volcano stage music are humm-able.
I don’t they’re bad (Apart from Indestructible), they just don’t stick in my head like some previous BGMs have. I like the music on the diner stage though.
You can humm any music in SF4 son, you just have to practice.
