Chunny arrived today. 
umâŚseriously. are these toys out? i have checked suncoast, eb, i have had them preordered at gamestop since like april. i fucking sick of waiting. i see them on ebay. FUCK every time i got to gamestop they give me a lter date. now theyâre telling me nov 1stâŚdoes anyone know a STORE i can physically walk into and look at these fucking things and decide if i want to buy them or not.
I picked up Bison last friday ( a store in Amsterdam actually had them :tup: )
Indeed theyâre a bit smaller than the resaurus ones but theyâre more detailed and poseable. I love the multiple heads/hands for different mood stands. 
These figures have started to pop up in Hot Topic stores. They showed up there first before any Gamestop or comic store. The bulk of every other storeâs orders are stuck in a Californian dock because of customs. Hopefully theyâll start shipping this week or next. Gamestop wonât carry the variants either. I got my figs at Hot Topic so thatâs where most of these US ebay sellers are getting theirs.

Is it just me who thinks these toys look pretty weak. They just dont have very good likenesses, plus the joints show really easilyâŚi prefer the old resuarus figures personally, wont be buying any of these new onesâŚa propa dissapointment
Perhaps they will get better, I thought Resaurus series 2 was better than series 1. Look at Cammy for example.
Is there any place in the states that carries these yet?!?!?
Looking to just go into a store and pick them all up EB, Toys R us, KB any of those??

My brother picked them up for me from the comic book store that he works at. They look good, but not as good as the Resaurus figures from a few years back (sorry Udon). So check your local comic book store if there isnât a Gamestop around.

a custom sota is where a person take two existing figures and put them together. It also can be taking an existing figures and repainting him and making parts for it from scratch. In this case he took an evil ryu figure and place an akuma head on and painted the symbol on the back. looks real nice.

I think its going for so much becuase he re-packaged it. That and dosent clearly state that it is unofficial. The guy whos wins it for more that $120 is gonna be PISSED!
EDIT= I just called my local Gamestop the guy is preety cool there he said that they will have a shipment comming on Nov. 9th or as early as the 6th. We shall see, but thats is what I was told.
if you check out the number of bids, it seems like someone jacked up the price. I dont see why this guy would keep increasing his bid like 7 times eventhough no one outbidded him. It seems fishy to me. Im not trying to imply that the seller is behind this im just saying someone is doing this on purpose to mess with the auction.
The reason why custom may cost more than the original is because it is one of a kind, custom insure you that you are the only one on the freaking planet to have it. Unless someone decides to make one exactly like which i doubt.
Hm I see, but if one person can do it surely others can learn too? I donât know how much the SOTA figures retail for but surely it has to be cheaper to just get the figures yourself and do your own custom? It would kind of give it more of a personal value to it since you in a way, created it that way. Still I guess a lot of people are probably afraid of damaging the figures in the process.
Woot. Got the grey Ryu variant at Hot Topic today. So Iâm assuming all of the rest of the Hot Topics across the US should have SF figures for anyone who hasnât bothered checking yet.
