When will PS VR 2 arrive

I have been thinking about getting a PS VR, but I have also been thinking about not getting it.

I don’t want to spend all that cash and then have to get another one just a few months latter. But of course waiting for version 2 means I will miss out on all the fun now.
And the issue is that this isn’t even a money thing. More a problem with the fact that Sony and Microsoft have shown us they don’t care about anything anymore, and are releasing new consoles willy nilly. It makes it hard to feel comfortable parting with my cash to have to find out there was another console or in this case another VR head set in development.

I liked the old 6 or so year between consoles. Then a big update. I understand the new way, which they have only done once in all fairness, means we get better hardware more frequently, but it also means the jump from one console to the next isn’t exciting anymore.

I play on console because I prefer it. But if they do continue to keep dropping new consoles on us every couple years I may as well just play on PC again.
Which seems off topic to the Discussion Title.

I needs me a Playstation that will render a fully touchable and interactable Chun Li right in my lap. If I’m not in an ER from going three rounds with her thighs it’s not realistic enough.

I am waiting for PS5, but in the mean time I just picked up a PS4 Pro, because console manufacturers think its ok to treat us like ATMS. Which I suppose we are. But screw that noise anyway, he complains while ordering a PSVR.
