i’ve been using Tron (gustaff fire) Sentinel (drones upwards) Doom (hidden missles) reason for that i can rush in with tron & use sentinels assist to keep a combo going i really use doom because y wouldnt u use him he’s fucking godlike i also like playing characters nobody plays with everybody is using vergil wesker & magneto i wouldn’t mind subbing in ammy for doom if that’s still a good team

I would say missles because missles enables you to have a ton of good mix ups depending on the team your running though

I was thinking Mags(EM disruptor)/X23(Ankle Slicer)/Tron(Gustaff Fire). My main problem is whether to put Mag on point or Tron on point. Mag is very strong even without meter, so I kind of want him on point but I don’t know for sure.

I would say x23,tron,magneto reason because x23 builds soo much meter for your team so fast & once you have enough meter tron is godlike with 1 bar of meter & magneto’s level 3 is 2 good who wouldnt want to have him with 3 meters & X-factor

I am using Chris(grenade)/Trish(Peekaboo)/Tron(Gustav) just started it yesterday incorporated Tron into my team. So far it is pretty mean Chris plus tron assist and Trish traps is really hard to get around. Tron assist + flamethrower is awesome lol. Anyway I am open to suggestions on assists for either characters still pretty new to this team.

i think those assits are pretty good maybe u can use trish’s assist the 1 that goes downards & bust the grenade with chris maybe the trap with explode & u can set up a combo off of that don’t no if it would work out but those assits are really good

Hah, I caught this because of the like button thing. I posted that March 2nd lol. I don’t even use any of those characters anymore or play this game much at all.

I haven’t touched Tron since Ultimate came out but I’m looking to pick her up again after ssing that front page video and how she works with Frank.
Thinking about running Tron/Frank-Shopping Cart/XXXXX
I was thinking Spencer or Doom but I’m pretty open to suggestions.
Guess I could just use Nova like that video for the unblockables but I also kinda feel like I should have something to help me get in.

Both Doom and Spencer are good anchors, and I feel Doom’s assists work better to extend Tron’s combos. Missiles help as an OTG and provide blockstun lockdown for command throw setups. Spencer is good by himself but I don’t think his assists offer much in the way of extending Tron combos… I know you can do some hard knockdown into camera into slant shot (the hard knockdown one) into another camera for 2x the PP. Slant shot + roll mixups may work against chickenblockers, and come to think of it, you might be able to use that slant shot reset into tron’s 1 frame command grab too.

Doom might complement your team’s weaker matchups overall, but Spencer’s assist might work to setup resets. try both…? for what it’s worth I ran Tron/Haggar/Doom in vanilla.

Yeah Tron seems to work really well for getting Frank to level up so I’m changing my teams around. Tron/Frank/Morrigan is what I’m planning on running now. Doesn’t hurt that Frank and Tron are two of my favorite characters.

…I don’t think I should necro this thread, but I kinda want to share this team I came up with. It is centered around PW, but Tron will be doing the heavy lifting. I’ll just copy/paste what I typed somewhere else:

Tron (Gustaff Fire)
PW (Press the Witness)
Sent (Drones)

I play Tron on point and attempt to get an opening, PW’s Press the Witness is for jH crossups.

Anytime I finally land a hit, I’ll combo into Tron’s Lunchrush hyper and immediately DHC into Maya-Steel Smelting. Since LunchRush has a long animation, I can search for two pieces of evidence while they get curbstomped by Servbots. Then I use Slip-UP (fM) to place them into a hard knockdown, cancel that into the third search while calling Drones. This usually has a good rate of gathering three pieces of good evidence.

Then, I switch into Courtroom Mode and try one of two things:
>Evidence Zoning
>Evidence ->Hard Tag back to Tron

The “Zoning” route means that I’ll stick with PW on point and try to land a combo into Objection, or I’ll get pressured and have to use a crossover counter Gustaff Fire assist.

The “Hard Tag” route means that I’ll play Tron on point again and try to find another combo.

After doing either one of the two methods (assuming I didn’t get an Objection from evidence zoning), I combo into Tron’s LunchRush->Whiff Maya Smelting once more. PW can easily combo into Objection and I have my TM Wright. It’s lulz from there.

Flaws of my team are:
>LOL TRON (Seriously, I think there’s almost no way for me to even get a hit here.)
>LOL PW (Not stellar on point, random evidence strategy, etc)
>Meter heavy strategy (Tron’s a battery character anyway, so she sort of mitigates this problem. I currently get 2 bars off most bNbs)

Backup Plan if all else fails: Derp factor Sent.

This is a terrible team (Sent being the only equalizer), but it’s fun to play.
