When is the next STREET FIGHTER or CAPCOM related comic coming out?

Aaaaand it’s back after resting for a whole week lol! Worlds Unite continues in next week’s Sonic The Hedgehog!

Worlds Unite concludes next week in Mega Man #52!

The Street Fighter Legends Chun-Li hardcover hits comic book stores next week!

Got my copies of both books today. Not bad selections honestly. The new Chun-Li story has some FF2 ties with some fitting comedy. For the Charlie Nash volume I liked how Udon chose to pull in various cloning possibilities that I have long since revealed were indicated deep within the win quote scripts of the SF4 game titles, unfortunately and no surprise in Japanese moreso than overseas.

Fell just beneath my radar but the Capcom Fighting Tribute book is also in comic book stores today too!

Went with the Chun-Li book for now. Will pick up the Fighting Trubute book at a later date.

Lol don’t know why Diamond always ships Udon’s pricier books in and around the same date instead of spreading them out.

Mega Man #53 comes out next week!

Also two art books from Studio Udon. One for Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Dual Destinies and the Devil May Cry 3I42 book drops as well.

I’m all over the Devil May Cry book. Huge fan! Hope they reveal a lot of stuff about the franchise.

Hey if you guys are enjoying the comic and you want Ian Flynn working on the Mega Man cartoon too to ensure that it will be GOOD make sure you tweet #Flynn4MegaMan to @ManOfActionEnt M’KAAAAY!!! Otherwise don’t say I never tried to give you a GOOD American video game cartoon lol!

Here’s Ian Flynn’s Twitter account. Lots of insights on the comic and he answers questions too if you have any.

Minna-san (Everyone) savor as much as you can; only three more issues and then hiatus. :s

I heard about the hiatus too. Oh well hopefully Udon’s SF comic will be back by then.

Yep, hopefully the start of SF Unlimited in December since MM #55 the last issue before the break is slated for November.

Do we have any idea when the new SF monthly is going to be set timeline wise? The Alpha, SF1 and SF2 stories are basically done at this point. The 4 comic felt more like a prologue than something actually covering the events of the game. The super books seemed to be leading into the SF3 series with all the Gill/Urien/Alex stuff.

Are they going to cover the events of 4 and then go into 5, or are they going to gloss over Seth and just jump into 5 with all the current hype it is getting.

I don’t think they are going to cover 4 specifically more than they already have. At least not until they finish the SF3 arc at best. They didn’t go to deep into it because the game was making the rounds, and ultimately the goal is for you to play the SF4 game/games to see what happens.

As for the new comic, from the press release it seems like they are going to build up to the SF3 Tournament. Since they mention Gill’s organization specifically and not, whoever they are fighting in 5 (I don’t think it’s Shadaloo, since Master Bison and Claw are not final bosses). I suppose they could mean the new SF5 game as the new tourney, but they will probably hold off for the same reason they didn’t tackle the SF4 tourney when the game was making the rounds.

***"Street Fighter™ comics are back with STREET FIGHTER™ UNLIMITED , an all-new monthly comic series arriving in comic shops December 2015! Street Fighter™ Unlimited combines fighters from all eras of Street Fighter’s nearly 30-year history in a Canon Spiking, Sonic Booming, Hadoken-throwing martial arts melee!

The new monthly series will be helmed by returning Street Fighter scribe Ken Siu-chong (Street Fighter™ IV, Super Street Fighter™), while pencillers Joe Ng (Street Fighter™ Origins: Akuma) and Edwin Huang (Skullkickers) will trade off art chores tackling 4-issue story arcs. The story promises to be UDON’s most epic yet as fan favorites Ryu, Chun-li, Guile, Ken, Alex, Cammy clash with not only the villainous Shadaloo organization, but also the invincible Gill and his cult-like Secret Society. It’s all leading up to a new Street Fighter Tournament featuring more World Warriors than ever before!"

We still don’t know if SF5 happens before the SF3 series or after. Either way, maybe the comic will tackle stuff from the new game. At least age Master Bison and get Cammy out of that dumb Delta Blue unit (really, WHAT THE…), but who knows.

Mega Man #53 was AMAZING!

MM53

[details=Spoiler]Wow! The robot museum mentioned in the Gameboy games! Guess this world will go a different path since the original 6 robots don’t wind up there, but who knows. Well Enker and a new Skull Castle with Wily can cover most of the important stuff in the first game anyway ha ha!

Mr. X’s reveal, OH SNAP! Very clever. Didn’t see that one coming!

It’s too bad that it doesn’t seem like the writer Ian Flynn will cover 4 completely and you have to rely on the game to see what happens. But after covering 1, Powered Up, 2, the Wily Wars, the Japanese only PC game and 3 well guess he can skip over one.

I kind of hope it isn’t being skipped because of the hiatus though. Well hey maybe next issue - Red Shift - will tackle the part where Break Man becomes Proto Man.

Crazy props for using Break Man THIS LONG! That’s amazing.

[/details]

I’m sure going to miss this book during the hiatus. :frowning:

Picked up the Devil May Cry art book but not going to tear into it until I get home! LET’S ROCK BABY! B)

Charlie Nash is finally availible at comixology! For $ 5 only. So great to see the implementation of Alpha, III and V into his story. An enjoyable read

PS: What’s the assistant’s name?

If you mean the blonde with Urien, her name’s Kolin.

Cool. Thanks

You’re welcome.
