Nice ending for the Mega Man II arc and I enjoyed the Sengoku Basara manga too. But DAMN Iām still hype about the Captain Commando manga coming out next week. Please donāt suck!

Ha I never even heard of the Captain Commando manga until Udonās update link that I posted a while back.
I kind of donāt want to know anything about it until I pick it up. Itās fun being in the dark sometimes.

Megaman #12 was good, looking forward to this next arc as I donāt think Ian has to worry about cramming/rushing the events of a game into 4 issues.

Namco character. At about 1:38 sheās the character that falls flat on her butt. The character right before her is Bravo Man, another character Udon has a comic strip for at Shifty Look.

Iāve never played either Bravo Man or Wonder Momo, the Namco games those two hail from. I only know them from NxC. In NxC they were partnered together. Wonder Momo put on a musical performance with Darkstalkersā Felicia in Japan.
Udonās still making Street Fighter/Capcom comics?
Yes and no. They donāt do single issues anymore, strictly trades. Thereās going to be an Akuma graphic novel of new material that will come out supposedly sometime later this year.
I wonāt hold my hopes for this Gouki comic TBH. Then again it could be the closest Iāll ever get to an actual licensed comic/book that has Hanma Yujiro on it =V
The Captain Commando manga was awesome! It was like Superman meets Batman meets strange strange Japan lol!
It was made way back in 1994 so itās an oldie but a goodie.
Since the game takes place in Metro City, the same city as Final Fight there are nods to FF and SF. Some of them are subtle but one character jokes that sheāll take someone out with a āShoryukenā ha ha!
I wondered exactly how they were going to go about it because really, how do you craft a sequential story on a 2D beat-em up? Still there are enough new characters and twists here and there so when all is said is done they made it work somehow.
Itās not over yet, thereās going to be a second volume. Definitely looking forward to it. 
Mega Man #13 comes out next week. Also the Dead Rising Road To Fortune TPB drops too. And donāt forget about the FREE Mega Man #1 issue tomorrow for Free Comic Book Day!

Udon FINALLY announces Marvel vs. Capcom Official Complete Works! :party:
Wonder Momo also had a stint in Queenās Gate Spiral Chaos - itās kinda surprising that considering the nature of that game she shows more skin in the ShiftyLook comic than she does there, but then again, Iāve been a bit dissaopinted with the way some of the characters are handled there when compared to the actual NxC scripts.
BTW, ShiftyLookās also handling DigDug (keeps changing hands, which doesnāt help it, nor does the fact that one one of the writer/artist pairing actually bothered to research enough to use the protagonistās official name), as well as Genpai Touma Den/Genji and Heike Clans, under the title āScarā - the character from that one was also in NxC (the art for that one looks pretty intricate, although the characterās unrecognizeable).
Theyāre planning to include Namcoās Valkyrie, also in NxC in the siteās roster, I hope they handle that well - for the most part the writers just seem to do whatever theyfeel like it, even when some like Bravomanās Moylan made it a habit of posting stuff about the original games in blog posts there, including NxC stuff - I do wonder if any read the script though, it covers a lot of canon from each gameā¦
Udonās decision to publish Captain Commando was pretty ballsy and I wonder about the reason behind it - they seem to have dropped their Rival Schools stuff for being niche, but the Captainās older, more obscure didnāt even get sequels, the closest being appearances in crossover gamesā¦
