…Yeah that is OT unless UDON are publishing it.
…but yay CoD! That’s one of my fav. Castlevania games.
Some more information on the new Bionic Commando comic.
Bionic Commando is the first of DDPs new Capcom imprint. Justin Marks and Jean Diaz will produce, starting in November. Capcom will spend $15 million promoting the game, which will be cross-promoted with the comic; the comic will promote the game with cheat codes, and the game will promote the comic with an insert.

Launch party for the SF Tribute book -
Kinda OT but here’s some info on what Lesean Thomas is up to. He drew the Sagat vs. Adon back up story in the Street Fighter comic. A couple of years back he posted in this Comic Book Forum too, when it was a Street Fighter Comic Forum. He also worked on the Boondocks cartoon. Oh his brother is SRK member and SF tourney player Sanford Kelly.
The first volume of the Phoenix Wright manga comes out next week. TAKE THAT! :lovin:
Hey all, I haven’t been in this thread in ages. Has there been a continuation of the SF comics since the tournament invitations were sent?
Yes, just one issue. Check your comic shop for SF #0 Remix.
Something I wandered across. Come February 2009 the first six issues of the Street Fighter comic will hit DVD! You’ll be able to watch it like an anime, I imagine similar to the Metal Gear Digital Graphic Novel for the PSP. Much more info -
i’m glad they’re coming out with Turbo.
i did get the first three issues of SF when they came out back in '03…but i fell off the wagon.
thankfully they have those trades so that i can get caught up with the SF and SF 2stories.
SF Tribute book hits comic book shops next Wednesday.
sweet.
long live Udon!
gah! i’ve called around to several shops this weekend, and all of them have sold out on #0 for Turbo.
not happy about that.
I heard the manga wasn’t all that good sadly
Personally I enjoyed it a lot. It’s a collection of short stories from different manga artists. Like around 20 different people or so. So not liking it, is kind of strange? I mean I suppose people can dislike anything, but I wonder why exactly. Like does a person dislike every single story in it and every single art style, the majority of them or just the format? If it’s just the format, than that’s one thing I suppose. I recommend reading some of it in store and forming your opinion. So far, haven’t seen any hate for it in the Phoenix Wright thread in General. But, to each his own.
Glad you enjoyed it, I personally may not read the manga, but if they make a manga for the upcoming Edgeworth game and it has Gumshoe in it, I will give it a read.
The second manga book is supposed to center around Edgeworth, but I don’t think that it’s based on the new game. It probably takes place after the first 3 games like the first manga, just focuses on Edgeworth. Not too sure though.
If you still can’t find it, ask one of those shops to order in a copy for you. Most comic shops are very accomodating for that, and we did plenty of overprint on this lead-in issue so it’s definitely still in stock. Just give them this order code:
STREET FIGHTER REMIX #0
Diamond order code #JUN084287
Hope that helps! For future issues you might want to set up a ‘pull list’ so they hold your street fighter comics for you. Pretty much every comic shop does this.
