Gee, with these two quotes from Udon, I really hope something will happen for the good of their licenses. I really wish Udon was a monthly comic like they said they would be. (At the beginning) Though they have changed their philosophy now, they are doing better, only at making a better relationship with Capcom. I just hope that when this SFIIHD finishes, (in which they get promotion for being the renowned artists who redrew them or etc.) they can really start pumping out Street Fighter releases on a monthly basis. Consistency is such a hard task.
So did RS #3 ever come out? I say this because the RS trade is coming out in August and I donāt remember ever seeing it.
I have no idea what is going on with Rival Schools myself.
If I were to hazzard a guess (and this is just a guess) the third and final issue will be in the TPB, kind of like how the final issue of Exalted appeared in the TPB only, but this is just a guess which I need to stress 3 times just in caseā¦
Itās either that or the third issue will be released by itself eventually and then the TPB will be released. Either way I just donāt knowā¦
So, is there a comic book version of Ingrid yet ;p?
Also, outside of SFL, where can I get more Karin, if at all ;O?
SFDevotion spoke about Ingrid to Ken Siu-Chong before on this forum. SFD says that sheās interesting, but it is up to Ken Siu-Chong. So so far no she hasnāt made an appearance yet.
As for Karin, well Studio Udonās translation of Masahiko Nakahiraās āSakura Ganbaru!ā manga is coming out sometime later this year and that is where Karin first appeared ever, as most of you know manga artist Masahiko Nakahira created the character for this manga and Capcom liked her so much they made her into a playable character. A whole lot of Karin in that book, mainly the first volume. :lovin:
Link plz Sano (TO KARIN)?
Nothing like that yet, I guess we have to wait for Udon to put out some preview pages like they did with the SFA manga. Um, I canāt do anything further than that because thereās just no way I can participate in shortening Udonās pockets now can I? Good gosh how this forum likes to put me into some akward positions.
Masahiko Nakahira did draw the cover to the Japanese SFZ3 Strategy guide if you want to see how he draws her though. Best online image of it I could find -
Is street fighter ultimate sold out? I looked on amazon, and I canāt find it anymore! It was 32.99 on amazon! And I really wanted to get it! I canāt find it anywhere at all!!!
Yeah Amazon has it it just costs a pretty penny.
Any word yet on what udon has in store for us at SDCC? Also thanks for the link one page back Sano
Sure thing! Studio Udonās sure to sell this book at the con, or at the very least Iād be shocked if the book wasnāt there.
Damn that cover is sweet I bet that book is awesome. Hopefully club udon puts it up on their site.
Was Street Fighter Ultimate Edition ever even in stock at Amazon? From my memory, even when it was first available at Amazon its status was still that it would ship in one to two months, and that never changed. A kid even said he ordered from Amazon and never even recieved it. I wanted to get this but between its unavailabilty at Amazon and Udonās painfully slow shipping at their Club Udon site, I just never bothered to get it.
Iām not sure about the SFUE, but I know that SFEC was in stock for a while. If youāre still in need of the UE, Iād suggest eBay. If thatās not an option, then Iād suggest the SRK buying/selling thread(s), comic book stores, and/or Club Udon [like you suggested].
2500 is seriously such a limited numberā¦especially for a book that can be bought by even people whoās never heard of Udon. I think 10,000 wouldāve been great, but 2500 is crazy small. Wasnāt there only 500 hardbacks also? So thatās only 3000 of these out there?
I was really hoping to get my hands on one.
Udon has some info up about SDCC on their deviant art page.
I think the art of capcom book will be in stores later this year and the 2007 sketchbook is already up on club udonās site. Im tempted to order it but I remember people complaining about how slow their shipping was.
I was wondering, is there any link where I can send suggestions for SSFIITHDR?
Well at this point they are not taking āmajor suggestionsā so to speak since they are pretty far along in the project but but they are reading everything and whatever can not be implemented in this game may be used in future projects. Anyway, this thread is your best bet along with the Capcom Blog in Brian Dunnās sig in the first post.
Street Fighter Alpha manga volume 2 comes out this week!
Letās see if Adon can manage to get his ass kickedā¦
