Most of SA have 0-4 startup frames but there are some way to do a perfect timing to starts the SA’s full parry? My first attempts were I start the parry when the second lightning of SA animation ends and I discovered that it was too late and of course I failed. After that, I tried to start the parry when the first lightning started and I start the second parry input only when I see the animation hitting me but it must be considered I use the dummy to do the SA at close range(currently I use Dudley’s SAIII) and sometimes I can do a correctly full parry, sometimes not. There are another method I use which is parry the second(third, etc) input even when I’m not hit and sometimes it works, sometimes not. My last and more dangerous but possible method was to do a fake first parry input like the second method above and parry only when the dummy hit me and it works but in all of methods sometimes I still fail. So which the right method to start and when parry at the exact time? Or some of these methods are correct and the only way I have is practice more?
Usually it’s best right before the freeze for those 1-3 frame Supers.
Parry before they initiate lke you would a wake up srk or tatsu and keep parrying. Predict
If you notice, the CPU walks up to you and actually does the motion. The tell is that the CPU crouches (as if doing the down portion of the command).
