For the longest time I thought 12 seconds or “87” left on the clock was the fastest, but last night I downed an Akuma player with Zangief in 11 seconds or with “88” left on the clock. I can’t see any possible way to get a KO faster. Anyone have any answers?
yuuvega ends a match at 89 at 1:42 in
with akuma and his low health. i decimated one a few days ago with 92 or 93 left. hella possible to get super fast rounds vs him
Sweet thanks for the responses. I knew most of it was due to the low health on Akuma, I just couldn’t see any faster way to finish him with Zangief. There’s always someone faster though haha.
I had a real match at an Evo end with 93 seconds left. It was during the Black Bracket of Death at Evo 2002.
Round starts, Ryu throws a Fireball, I jump over with Cammy. Jump Fierce, Fierce, Roundhouse Drill: dizzy. Jump Fierce, Fierce, Roundhouse Drill: dead. 93 seconds left.
My opponent was not happy and proceeded to DESTROY me the rest of the match. sigh

Haha
Some guys tend to get serious(and angry) when they’re perfected.
Dic can do the same think.
round start crossup roundhouse short short low forward scissor kick dizzy repeat with psycho crush dead.
I had a dic match end yesterday with 91. I think it was three walking forward s.rh, dizzy, j.rh, s.lk c.mk rh scissors. I distinctly remember it was against ryu who would ALWAYS start the round with a hurricane kick and do fireballs from my s.rh range, so i just exploited that.
Fastest possible, I don’t know if Akuma would be faster, or hitting blanka out of his blankaball.
Actually I bet the fastest possible would be akuma holding forward and e-honda doing RH slaps.
Good video. Do these also work in HD Remix for the most part?
Stupid question, but three walking forward roundhouses? Is that actually a combo, or was the opponent just dumb enough to try and hurricane again after each one?
3 st.rh => not a combo xD i guess the opponent was stupid.
he always did hurricane kick at the start of round, and he felt ‘safe’ at my s.rh range, so he would always attempt a fireball after each s.rh hit him. No, it definetly does not combo.
